Neat From what I remember P3 and P4 being in 2nd person was just Atlus USA's interpretation. Japanese is weird and doesn't require you to be precise about this kind of stuff, I remember reading that it was generally accepted among Nipponese fans that both P3 and P4 are narrated by protagonists, and the way Yu's internal monogloue is written in Arena actually reflects that. P5 just seems to be more clear about that.
