80s junk is 80s junk. The 90s junk is 90s junk (although the 300 is reasonably fun to drive).

350 was supposed to be the legacy throwback and they made it fat and ugly, a large part of ruining the lines is the v6.

But both the Z31 and Z32 are V6s. Only the VQ35HR motors had the extra hump in the hood, and I happen to like it over the smooth hood of the non-HR models..

What exactly does the Genesis do?

It's too weak to be a pony car, too fat and clunky to be a turn feels car, and too unrefined to be a grand tourer.

It's like the "master of nothing" position is better filled by the 370z.

How can the Genesis sedan be so great and the coupe be so shit?

Hopefully with the Genesis brand they can finally make a new coupe that's as good as the sedan, maybe with the Tau V8
