Depends. I guess on bigger slower monster, or monsters that are especially weak to blast, it might cut it. But highest effective raw GS is Tigrex.

Jho was suffering for me. IG vs Jho is the worst weapon-monster matchup ever. The gate also took 1 min to reload, when I thought it was 20 seconds.

Not him but red from Jho's head is the usual monster-turns-to-face-you snipe. It's orange that's slightly trickier since it hangs just out of reach. I usually only get it when he trips or if he charges far away, then I pheromone his hump.
Unless you're talking about apex when your drive is down and Jho's head becomes a bounce zone, then yeah fuck that shit.

He didn't say that. He said that my supposedly white palicos are actually light blue, because the gathering bias icon is white but the color when you fire them out in meowster hunters is light blue, yet every other bias icon properly matches their color.
Ore spots and rare areas are white, so no palico can get the bonus/shiny rewards for them.
Underrated when playing solo. You barely get to use crouching fire offline, so you can actually put out more damage safely with gunpowder infusion mixed with guns blazing and one evasion skill for mobility and safety.
