Thanks friends. I think I'll take barb1 for slash debuff into either corsair1 for pvp or Doppel. Would it be fucking awful if I took Cata for the costume and nothing else? I literally only want the costume. So dropping Corsair for Cata. Would it completely make my character useless?

Are Monks really that awful and despised and overal, unwanted in parties of any kind, pve or pvp? I have a monk at level 140. It's my first character but I might just make the transition over to Swordsman for the desire of peltastas in every party.

Most Monks are shitters that expected the class to be like how it was in RO, as long as you understand that you're a hybrid damage dealer that still has healing as your priority you're fine and nobody will really care.

I hate everybody that does this there is no point to combining a Str/Dex character with a class heavily reliant on spirit. No, Spr Monk is not a good idea you are gaining +0.4 damage per double punch from your blessing compared to a Chap that would gain +1 damage for aspergillium attack and then +0.2 damage/spirit/damage line a whole 2 ranks lower.

monks are just plain terrible, cant solo properly and not usefull in parties at all (no good support or dps)
in pvp they are that 1 trick pony class with safety zone and kamehameha
if you rolled a monk do yourself a favor and reroll

However I spent alot of my time in pvp clicking away buffs from teammates as they appear because when I tranpose and they bump the buff off I'm back to 6 fucking k health instead of 60
