13Bs at 500HP need some sort of aux injection (water/meth) and probably should be run on race gas as extra insurance. They are tuned within an inch of their lives. If everything is perfect they will last maybe 30k miles. If anything goes wrong, and I mean anything, one pre-ignition event and the motor is gone.

Think of it this way. A 500hp 13B is half of a 1000hp 26B.
