If anything it's the LMP1 class that doesn't matter. As it stands in recent years, Porsche, Audi, and Toyota each have about a 30% chance of landing a spot on the podium. LMP1 is a dying spec that nobody cares about and therefore each entry has a better chance of winning. Plus, the spec is inherently faster than the GT classes.
