Pontiac Fiero 2+2 concept

When customers complained about the normal 2 seater Fiero being a bit impractical (no really?), Pontiac thought about releasing this hideous 2+2 variant with a back seat... I'm glad they didn't.

At least it's around now. Hopefully they rebuild the others as well. Would be really amazing to have them all around.

Paul Newman got his own version of the R30 Skyline.

Chevrolet Turbo Titan III

"GT-308 prototype gas turbine engine that produced 280 hp at 35,000 rpm"

Speaking of turbine cars. How much fuel did they chew through, back then?

youtu.be/TjqNdhiJkRU

Not sure for the turbo titan, Ford's Big Red got 2.1 mpg and made 700hp

Toyota EX-III

GAZ GL-1

September 22, 1940, the second version of the GL-1 became the quickest car of the Soviet Union when it sat an All-Union speed record of 161.9 kph

Suzuki C2
>supposed to be the successor to the Suzuki Cappuccino
>1.6 litre V8
>Power: 250hp @ 4000 RPM
>Torque: 283Nm @4000 RPM
>mfw never being able to drive a V8 keicar

Well, it's not a kei car if it's 1.6 liters. It's just a small car.

.6 litre V8

Peugeot Oxia

>1.6L V-8
>250 HP @ 4k
They broke physics. I want it.

That 4000 RPM is obviously a typo. It's completely unrealistic without a turbo and it doesn't add up with the torque number.

...

a fucking 7.2 lb/bhp in 1997. Jesus, Mary, and Joseph

Suzuki fed steroids to a go kart

Moskvich 408 Tourist

My favorite soviet car design ever, shame the proletariat had no use for a 2-door sports coupe

dem mutton chops tho

You're right with the typo. I just got the info from some random concept car site but now I've been doing a bit more research and it turns out it made 250 hp @ 7000RPM

>250 hp
>less than 900 kg (848 to be exact)
>RWD
>6 Speed Manual
>mfw this car was never sold

Peugeot is pretty good with concepts.

Gilbern T11
Gilbern and Marcos are the only Welsh car manufacturers I know of.

>tfw you'll never drive a turbine powered family sedan

>Lada Samara EVA
>youtu.be/HrILy4KZ204
>Based on the Lada 2108 model, VFTS built a Group B special. This was a rear wheel drive sports car with the engine of 300 hp. Several prototypes had been built and funds were allocated for constructing the 200 homologation copies, but the project never happened because of the cessation of Group B at the end of 1986.

>the city of what could've been
>Group S
>planned to replace Group B after 1988
>plans were scrapped after Group B was canceled in 1986
>one of them was the Lancia ECV

>forgot to mention in the last post that several prototypes still exist
>Lancia was one of them
>This Toyota MR2 is the second one

>third Group S prototype (and the craziest)
>Audi Quattro RS002

The rest of the video is great, too, though. Dat 037...mother of god.

That really is a missed opportunity.

You can tell a portuguese guy translate that.

>In 1996 UMM stops building the Alter II to private costumers.

What he means is that UMM supplies the Portuguese army and police forces.

Was Hino an independent car company at one time?

Too soon

It remained the fastest car in the Soviet Union until the fall of the Berlin Wall.

not really, they made some small commercial vehicles in 1910 but that was before the Hino name was arround, then during WW2 they made tanks and after that they started making rebadged Renaults

The Miata-Porsche that never was

Designed by the Vector W8 people?

Long before the turbine, Chrysler experimented with radial-engined cars.
