The music stops immediately, and the monster obviously winds down to go to sleep. Just keep that in mind next time. Although, if no one said they were sleeping a monster in the first place, don't feel too bad. Those fuckers have to communicate, too.

There's a small grace period before your attacks wake the monster. If you stop as soon as possible, you'll be fine.

How the hell do I defeat bigger monsters? I've hacking at them forever and they don't even look hurt

-Focus
-Quicksheath
-Crit Draw
-Punishing Draw

I was looking at the deviant Tigrex set as an alternative, but there's just no way to shove Focus into it. Suggestions?

Actually. I'm not sure about launches since they added aerial attacks. But trips and blowouts give iframes.

Mizutsune and Royal Ludroth are both good options for Water.

The best Dragon one hands down is Alatreon's, but that's really late in the game so I just made the Gore Magala one
