But it already is. Beagle has confirmed that the beard and his face without the beard are accurate to life recreations.

What. When?

On stream. He was messing with his in-game character and went on to detail (after removing the beard briefly) how he went in to Firaxis so they could get his likeness and he was shocked at how well she did the face (what it looks like without the beard).

Last time he stream XCOM 2. He was giving us a tour of Beagle-rookie and took the beard off and told us how Firaxis made an accurate representation of his head from just a few pictures. He then gave Beagle-rookie Bradfords rifle and killed X2.

Do you have a general time into the stream when it happens?

Alright so I'm finally gonna start a Long War campaign with intent to finish it this time. Just normal ironman because I am not good. Only changes are a reduction of aircraft transfer time and weapon re-arm time, everything else will be unmodified.
Turning on New Economy, Commander's Choice, and Durability. Starting in Nigeria because gotta go fast I am addicted to speed. Probably nothing interesting will happen.

For the first round of base management, I'm building an elevator, excavating one spot, building a satellite control, a satellite, a motion tracker, and starting xenobiology.

The 2nd mission is the dam map from Portent, and my lineup is Sun Tzu, Ms Overwatch Bait, Voyboy, Davy Crockett, Freckled Buckler, and Amestub. I brough alot of AP since it was a roadway map.

I actually haven't seen any of the other Bourne films but yeah it's the new one

I kinda liked it, but my eyes hurt from the chaotic camera scenes in the first 30 minutes

2nd mission was flawless, no one even hurt for armor damage and managed to recover some of the meld. Its a good start to the campaign, I'll take the momentum into tomorrow hopefully.

Why the fuck can't this game handle cover destruction at all? Every time I use a grenade, I have to get up and go get a coffee or something because it takes a whole literal fucking real life minute for it to figure out what the fuck is going on and let my soldiers see aliens again.

Because whatever they did to the unreal engine between EW and XCOM 2 was absolute SHIT in terms of performance, and the game is even buggier than EW was.

I've finally admitted to myself that Xcom 2 is not what I thought it would be. It just isn't good.

Fuck Advent. They're dull and boring as shit. I hate fighting them and they're not satisfying. I want to kill aliens not humans. Killing a single sectoid in Xcom EU is more satisfying than killing an entire levels worth of Advent. I'm sick of killing the same 3 faggots every single mission.

The game is just boring. I miss killing popcorn heads. Also the game is buggy as shit, STILL. And the DLC has all been really really bad.

Advent should've disappeared as you went further into the game, or they should've become cannon fodder and meat shields for the ayys, the whole "heavy, elite, advanced" or whatever versions of advent should not exist.

Fuck no, one of the things I hate most about XCOM EU/EW is that the actually interesting early game enemies get replaced by boring as fuck mutons that are basically just XCOM Rookies with 120 Aim and better gear. Even Sectopods aren't interesting compared to discs and drones because of discs actually having interesting dynamics. And mutons are a relief once they replace thin men with their bullshit (but actually tactically interesting) poison spit and jumpy legs.

Optimization is honestly a huge can of worms and I'm not too mad if it takes a little while to do even after launch.

Different teams are better at different things, some have a better understanding of the engine, some simply have different feature sets, XCOM 2 was inefficient at launch, but it wasn't unfinished.

On the plus side, Xcom2 has never crashed on me. Although, the first time i got to the last mission i restarted the game myself after the last room turned into a disco because i thought it was melting my computer.

As it turns out, it was just the game not being able to handle so many ayys.

It's pretty important with how long things take to research in Legendary. But workshops don't give efficiency bonuses so using them is entirely dependent on your engineer numbers and strategy.

I can tell that XCOM2 is better, but believe me if Long War ain't richer.

Post Roulettes how the fuck is there 15 seconds of lag between pasting an image link and Veeky Forums x registering it
