How much better does the fdls jump range get if you engineer really hard?

Engineers can only boost Jumps by around 44% or so, so it wont make the mistake into a miracle

They have them regardless. if you get Horizons you can get them as well.

You can bump a combat fit FDL's jump range from 13ish to 18ish, so, acceptable, but still not great.

Im pretty pleased from what I saw in the leaked video, its pretty much what I expected. My only concern is that we haven't seen PC performance, and the PS4 gameplay had graphics that were a bit underwhelming, so Im hoping the PC release is better optimized to have better performance and not be a simple PC port.

What is there to do on planets?
I haven't bought horizons yet and am on the fence about it.

NMS is turning out to be exactly what I thought it would be. It's a typical indie game with typical indie game features and typical overblown indie game promises.

I can see it now, all AI just float aimlessly and bang against stations/each other/drift into space, no one understands why until they check the AI's modules and find the Cheese commodity in every slot. Fdev then takes five months to fix the issue.

I'm already enjoying what we have. It's a fuckton runner than what's available in E:D, and they actually communicate with people interested. The four part ATV ep. 100 was great. Good to see all the workspaces and people doing their shit. I had my doubts back when all that bullshit with he ex employee and Derek Smart happened, but they've been fully assuaged by all the communication lately.

Just got my cutter the other day
made two 63M sothis runs with it
23LY for ~688t is amazing
usually you get 23 - 25 jumps to get back from sothis
if you do make sure to get a 7A pp and a 5A scoop with it, 64 tons of fuel takes some time to fill
but because the sothis at war state it takes forever to generate haulage missions

You guys are a little too good at dadposting.

I would consider hopping back on again to try out a Sothis run but
