very interesting but we are in /nintyg/ now so take it there
Joseph Hernandez
they turn into ink. that's how callie and marie tie their knots
Oliver Perry
bye, user... I hope you always remember the good times we had. I might do the same. not even the translator user and the artfags keep me here at this point.
I don't really see why /ink/ wouldn't still be serviceable. And in just a couple of months they're bound to announce Spla2n anyway. At which point these threads will be at full steam again anyway. /ink/ was active before the game had even launched. Surely it can survive a couple of months without Splatfests.
If Nintendo reveals the NX without showing anything about a new Splatoon game I'll be highly surprised.
Jose Scott
It's literally just ninty's resident autist.
Eli Rogers
...
Jacob Garcia
>Splat2wn I want this meme to fucking die. Without motion controls, Splatoon will become Nintendo's CoD.
Noah Moore
No I don't see how a thread about a game would survive months or years after the release of its only game.
Cameron Taylor
You're right, familia. When a game's servers are literally dominated by japs and the western players are as common as Battleborn players, a thread about a game will survive months or years after the release of its only game.
Brody Parker
>driven solely by waifufags >game doesn't even have gameplay
>and we are struggling to stay alive with a popular and hugely successful game
/ink/ is dead.
Elijah Gonzalez
this
now lets stop posting and go back to /nintyg/ and leave this place to die
Ayden Ward
>90 seconds apart #wow #whoa
Luis Wilson
wha?
Chase Murphy
Splatoon has a sequel coming though. Quite possibly even spinoffs.
Jonathan Howard
he's right, though
Eli Phillips
there has been literally no evidence to prove this, even then, how would splatoon work on a single screen and with a controller that has no gyro control at all?
Adrian Sanders
>how would splatoon work on a single screen and with a controller that has no gyro control at all? Who is to say the NX doesn't have gyro controls? We still don't know anything about the NX. In before baseless rumors.
Lincoln Phillips
>Who is to say the NX doesn't have gyro controls? Kimishima, who said the NX is not part of the Wii line of products and Nintendo is moving away from the Wii.
Jace Cook
Why wouldn't it have motion controls? I haven't been following the nx rumours much.
Angel King
I thought they'd finally gotten tired of making mutant 3DSs and it's the next portable.
Joseph Bailey
again, nowhere in your post did you say the word "gyro" or "motion"
Matthew King
The best proof of motion controls is that Just Dance is releasing for NX.
Dylan Barnes
tl;dr.
Ayden Nelson
The Xbox and Playstation controllers also have Gyro. They aren't Wii brand products.
Julian Perez
PS4 has Just Dance. PS4 doesn't have motion controllers, just a camera.
Daniel Kelly
>xbox controller has gyro can i get a source on this
Bentley Martinez
Name one game from each of them systems that use gyro controls for a third person shooter like Splatoon does.
Kevin Russell
Tower defense with squids, author puts emphasis by listing the same things twice. all in all, it's not well thought out or well constructed GDD
Justin Walker
The basic idea could be fun, but squid movement would make nearly any genre more fun.
Where's that "all kinds of games" interview?
Ryder White
why the fuck wouldn't they put gyro? my 3ds has gyro. my phone has gyro. my ps4 controller has gyro. surely Nintendo wouldn't cut corners that hard.
Ian Jenkins
movement was not in the document at all, lists powerups and stationary constructions as well as outlining how Octarians lemming their way in waves
Eli Bennett
Missed a trick there then. TD where you also have to maintain turf control so you can swim efficiently between towers would be interesting.
>add an offensive tower or use this space for a giant sprinkler? >struggling through neglected turf to reorient a tower across the map
