I-i bought my FWD car for it's great handling characteristics

>buying anything but awd

>AWD
>I...I need it for the snow

>I-I [drive] my FWD car [because my parents wouldn't buy / insure anything else that I liked]

FTFY OP.

I know that was true for me as a 16-year-old; pic related - my first car as of 2007 (was 18 at the time).

...Then I got an STi, what a fucking upgrade...

...Then I got a Miata and found limited-slip RWD zen. I couldn't imagine going FWD again unless I just wanted an 80's-'90's Honda project as a cheap side car.

I just remember launching in the RSX in the rain and ending up in the next lane over, no matter how hard I kept the wheel straight.

FWD is by far the best choice for all season driving if you're not willing to insure and pay taxes on two cars or switch insurance, registratio, and plates around constantly

AWD is a clumsy waste of gas in the dry seasons

>i'm so manly that I need over 1500kg of metal to protect me when i inevitably get into an accident because i am actually a woman

I bought my FWD car for it's handling. Nobody buys a FWD car for it's FWD. Except women.

you don't buy a peugeot 205 gti for anything besides its handling

FWD is handy if you live anywhere that experiences real winter road conditions

If someone is buying for less than three grand I assume it's a first vehicle and they don't want a moneysink hobby car like the AW11
