Very few are used now for some story missions, the mining facility music is actually the ocean biome battle theme

Both players need it, remember to enable mimatched assets in the settings

It used to be able to run of fucking coal and wood. Why the fuck shouldn't the ship be able to run on oil? "Erchius fuel" is just magic space liquid that nobody understands but works in ships, so why not oil? Sure it'd take more oil than erchius fuel to use in your ship, but it should still be fucking viable. Maybe 10 units of oil to 1 unit of Erchius fuel, I don't know.

Is there a mod that makes blocks worth anything?

Either do random quests for villagers or colonists, as after each one there is a chance the quest giver will ask to join your crew, or hire penguins for 3 diamonds each at the outpost. You get an upgrade for each two crew members, though if you're already on level 3 for instance you'll need 8 for the level 4 upgrade.

If you just want to get rid of them, sell them all and with a single object of value (so total transaction is more than 0)

Lots of overgrowth, organic objects, lots of decay (since I assume florans are very utilitarian and wouldn't give a shit about say, a computer).

Keep it the way it is and repair ruined parts with plants/vines

Same base stats, whether the special is better is debatable I guess. It lays down high-damage landmines, the violium sword does low damage but launches you at ridiculous speeds.
