What's the most expensive ticket you've ever gotten?
I paid over $200 for a speeding ticket going 60 in a 40.

>be me in sisters civic
>visiting friend in different city overnight
>98 in a 75
>woop woop sound of the police
>ticket for idk how much
>call some random lawyer ask how much
>lady asks for card info gonna be 200
>"200 for what, deposit, lawyer fee ??"
>"200 for service user"
>so sketchy butt fuck it
>literally never hear from then 2 months late
>no case number
>call back asking what happened
>giv me sec
>hold for 10 years
>be me 10 years older
>jk
>apply for a gov't job
>"do you have any pending tickets"
>n-no
>crazy thorough background check
>"so anyone you had no pending tickets right"
>balls sweatier than ann frank
>"y-y-yes thats right"
>"cool eveything checks out"
and then I found five dollars
I'm 34 years old and have never been pulled over by the police and have never had a ticket
Feels excellent to not be a dumbass
$1000 total USD
>work at a dealership
>we want to trade cars at a different dealership
>customer wants this specific car tomorrow so its sold
>its brand new and drives like a dream
>nightime
>groggy af
>driving back home from another city for work cause thats where the other dealership we traded to is.
>home bout 150 miles one way from other city
>trying to stay awake so hard
>not paying attention to speedo
>on interstate, see cop lights in distance
>"he probably pulled someone over"
>slow down as the lights get closer
cop clocks me going 97 in a 75 from almost 2200ft away
so that means i was going at least 100-115.
IN A NEW COMPANY CAR NO LESS
no insurence, no title or registration. he cut me loose with a ticket and said to appear in court.
criminal speeding is offical at 85mph so i lawyered up for 500 bucks and he sweet talked the judge. dropped it down to civil charge cause its my first offense and i paid 500 and some change to the state, worth it cause no criminal record. people don't realize how badly a single criminal charge can affect your life.
$480 for 130 in a 65
>I'm so terrified of law enforcement the fear alone keeps me in line
what a cuck
$335 for 60 in a 50.
Something like $380 for 88 in a 70. I paid some slimy lawyer $100 to get it dropped. Fucking california.
I only got a $120 for a 60 in a 40 in Illinois but it was my first traffic ticket
Man it is so fucking ridiculous how much 'speeding' costs. 97 isn't even fucking fast. Especially in a new car of this decade. Any new car short of smart cars can comfortably cruise at 90-110 and brake in time.
$1000 just by going 22 over. That's fucking ridiculous. I live in Florida and had to pay $280 for going 72 in a 45 after doing a burnout and 3000rpm launch at a redlight. It would have been only 4 points but I plea no contest in court.
My only time getting pulled over after an illegal left turn.
>Getting gas at station before on-ramp to freeway
>Exit of lot has sign along the lines of "no left turns between 5-9am"
>Its around 8:40
>Say fuck it and make the left turn
>As I pull onto the street bike cop rides onto street from a gated community
>Chills behind me at the light
>Light turns green
>Red and blue lights behind me
>Pull over on the side on the on-ramp
>"D'ya see the sign, son?
>"blah blah illegal until 9am"
>$400 ticket
>"If you take it to court I wont be there so go ahead."
>Gave me an escort onto the freeway
Not bad but I'd not repeat if possible
