Guide is also missing the timing chain, fan belt, and the alternator says 1x10mm when it's actually 2x10mm.

Also, the engine plate has to go on before the starter.

The tractor is in the large shed (grab the booze next to the pile of firewood while you're at it) and the second jack is at the back of the garage iirc.

Remove the oil pan, it's in the way of the timing cover. Also turn on the lights, the switch is next to the entrance

I assembled the entire car using just the jacks in the driveway. After the engine is in you can jump in the bay and duck down to reach everything. I tried moving it with the seat but the physics fucked up and my car flipped over the van.

The last thread had a pretty helpful list of how the suspension goes in, you might want to put it in

I did that and it was an enormous pain in the ass. Stuff like the gearshift and the exhaust are almost impossible.

So, I have discovered that you can pee in the radiator. That is all.

Apparently you can move the forklift thing on the tractor up and down using PG UP and PG DOWN.

How the fuck do I put the clutch and pressure plate on. I put the engine plate on then flywheel now the only thing I can put on is the clutch cover plate but if I put that on I can't put either the pressure plate or the clutch on. Help, I cannot into this. Worst part is I did it just fine a few days ago. I think I'm retarded. Send help.

I think I put the cover plate on first, then the clatch disc into the pressure plate, before putting all that on

After like 5 hours of work I got it mostly together. Putting the panels on was sketchy, half of them sat in place for a second, then popped out and damaged themselves. While trying to get the passenger seat it, it launched itself into the windshield breaking it, and it leaked all of its oil in like 30 seconds of driving. I'll probably try a smoother build in the future now that I know how to do everything.

Assemble the three plates together then bolt them on.

Thats probably the shittiest thing so far, when you know where a part goes but you can find the 2 pixel big spot where it wants you to have it.

That and the exhaust pipe is unwieldy as fuck. Can't fucking get it to go where I need it to.
It just keeps rotating around uselessly and smashing the shit out of my car.

Yes it does. They're near the middle of the dash. A small hand will show up over the switch, but it doesn't have any text saying lights.

Try putting in the radiator first.

The hot spot should be in the center of the car's underside, near the shifter.

Do you have to put in the exhaust before something? I'm trying to put it in and it's refusing to go it and keeps denting my fucking body

You have to put it on after the muffler, that's it. Is everything else installed?

Is the clutch bolted to the pedal assembly through the firewall? Is there fluid in the clutch cylinder, Did you tighten the drive gear nut to the throwout bearing? Did you tighten the third nut on the shifter linkage?

You'll see the release from amistech before 179 gets out.

Get in, press enter in seat, start ignition, hold until starts, van may slip into reverse and die, shift to neutral, restart and use F and V to shift up and down. Also right click on the e brake until its off.

You need to periodically adjust the valves again, i found mine all to be all wrong just now.
also rest the oil can on the open block, now oil will keep pouring in

Also You can build a tool table out of a beer case, it makes it easier when you don't have to cycle crouch three times each time you want a different spanner.

After the car burst into flames and shat the bottom end out i was going to leave it but i will give it another go

I tune the valves with the valve cover on, sitting behind the head right on top of the carb, easing forward you can peer through the cover, then turn and Q reach through the firewall to reach the ignition.so you don't have to jump in and out while getting it lined out.

If you leave the valve cover off you have to refill the oil once you re-install it.
