Plenty of idioms have dictionary definitions . But my main fear, anyway, is that MT will be "good enough". Right now, it's bad and constantly inaccurate and reads poorly, so it's not good enough. But if gets better to the point it's "good enough", even if it fucks up idioms, then manually translating looses a fuckton of its value.
