Clean your carbs

A gallon of concentrated carb cleaner.

But.. I had them cleaned about a month ago...;_;

what bike?
also adjust your idle air a little richer and maybe bump up one jet size for pilot

They can never be clean enough

Also I'm going with plugged radiator

Needed new fork seals, had done about 100 hours then sat for 2 years since they were done last so was kinda way over due.
>At least you aren't a carb cuck
that bike is legendary as far as the carby is concerned, did not even clean the fuel out of the carby before it sat in pieces for 2 years, put it back together and it started 3rd kick, fiddled with the float and it starts 1st kick every time now.

Carb Cleaner

If you don't own a compressor, compressed air.

I like to soak any brass parts in heated vinegar, doubly so any thing like a float need with a rubber tip.

Thats about it.

2004 EX250F
I've got the idle set to 1300-1500rpm like the manual says.
I'm also running 20w50 since it is summer.

Make sure you completely dismantle the carby and remove ALL of the seals before touching it with carby cleaner.

Otherwise you will need to rebuild the carby.
