I just sold my DK2, for $600 just like I bought it. After the new one was released. Some people just can't deal with waiting I guess. I will not buy the new one though, I never actually used it except as a novelty. Support in racing sims still isn't really good enough yet to use it for actual racing.
is there a way to crack online access when i have the steam version?
i dont use the cracked version but if the cracked files are just drag and drop file replacement it might work with the steam version

On the serious note though, what kind of racing sims lack rift support? I think i've seen it in every racing game i can think of (LFS, Dirt Rally, ACorsa, rfactor2, iracing)
also, who in the world could be dumb enough to purchase dk2 after oculus officially dropped dk2 support in newer apis

I've seen rift support in AC menus, in display section. Is it broken?
AC is broken in general
rFactor 2 doesn't support the rift, there's a third party plugin that you can sort of make work and takes an hour of configuring. I never ended up using it for any /ovg/ races, it was just inconvenient. AC just has a tech demo, you cannot even use any menus so forget using it for racing there. I don't play iRacing, dunno how good their support it. Don't play DiRT Rally enough to warrant a $600 accessory. LFS supports it perfectly and would be wonderful except no one else plays it anymore for some reason.
It was a fun thing to dick around with for awhile, especially since I essentially got to have it for free. There are just other things $600 could be better spent on right now. Maybe in the future when the technology is more mature I will get one again. As for who would buy it? Fucking retards that's who. I figured this would happen though, when the DK2 came out, DK1s were up for sale on ebay for MORE than the price of a new unit. Some people just cannot deal with waiting a month or two for their new toy to arrive I guess.

Because it's a GT Concept-like thing with official FIA tournaments, so they're likely to release it on time. It's not like they need to make 500 cars for this, it's not GT7.

Why would I pull over during a race to change a tire? I'd get a penalty, something an N64 game doesnt have the computational process to handle, unlike shift 2.
