going on a tangent here, do any of you guys play other Hgames? what artists would you like to do guest art for a future rance game?

I don't personally, though I have played some occassional H title from here and there, but I mostly just stick to Alicesoft and nothing else.

Kenkou Cross as long as he sticks to art and has zero input on story, world, or even what snacks to eat during break.

He's pretty bad at the whole world building thing. When it comes to art he's REALLY FUCKING GOOD, but otherwise he'll be the Sakamoto of Rance/AS if he had any influence on the story or characters.

I think both Orion and Gyokai are doing a fine job both for main and remake Rance series so there is no need to replace them by someone from outside. But If Alicesoft is going to go all out with X and it's going to be a huge game I wouldn't mind seeing some parts of its art to be given to Gyokai and Min Nakaren instead putting all load on Orion. One of the bigger annoyances in Quest for me was the lack of full body sprites for many recruitable characters and I don't want to see such halfassed approach for X.

Why do you think that? I don't find the worldbuilding to be that bad. It does mostly feel like a porny joke, but it's still somewhat interesting.

He did gal monster CGs for Rance VI. Giving him to make something like that again wouldn't be bad.

Action gameplay in general is shit for Rance. This is a story heavy H game, so heavy complex action will just suck up budget that should go to better things.

Somehow I have a feeling that TADA may retire after the main Rance series will be finished. He didn't expressed any interest in the remakes beyond 04 but he wasn't involved much into creation of 01 and 03 and the people who did most of the job may feel different and Rance remakes looks like a safe bet for titles that aren't going to flop in sales at very least. With enough will and if the company will manage to stay afloat long enough I don't see why they couldn't go all the way to Rance 010 somewhere in 15 - 20 years from now on.

He's also like mid 50s at his oldest, has been working in a tiny injury for the love of it and Japanese life expectancy is in the 80s

I recently did a lot of clearing out of my hard drive. While I've yet to finish, and have been quite busy recently (haven't even fapped in over a month). All I've got saved now that isn't from Alicesoft are these:
Cresendo (VN - installed not because I like it, but because I plan to replay it for some academic reasons)
Kamidori (still yet to play it)
Kasumi Rebirth
Fairy Fighting (barely made any progress with it, but I often find myself fapping much faster than usual after starting to play it)
If Fap Heros count as games, I've got a bunch of them.
Lets Meow Meow (I'll probably never replay it, but it's a good laugh).
My Girlfriend is the President (hilarious game, I still need to get the full English version)
Ronin - Spirit of the Sword (still yet to play it)
Violated Heroine (I stopped at a point where I was happy, I'll probably play it in a more completionist manner some time later)
Virgin Roster (still yet to play it)

I'm also planning to redownload SlaveMaker and CoC sometime, but I don't think much of either of those games.

There is no way they will stop making Rance games after X. There is easily enough content for another decade of games without it even looking as milking the franchise

If you speak French, look up Regles de Bioche.
If you're losing all hope, look up the Weierstrass substitution.
If you're just simply stuck, check that what you're integrating isn't just a simple derivative of a logarithm.
Learn your basic integrals and derivatives, if you don't know these, you'll never build intuition or spot the logs.
There's also a few general tricks for integration by substitution, although it's too long to put here. Basically, memorise your trig identities and look out for them. For example if you see an integral involving a^2 + x^2, you should try x=a tan u or x=a sihn u for reasons that should be retrospectively obvious.
