A little over halfway done with my relic. Got my DRK to 50 but now I want to get my PLD to 50, but I don't want to actually do Stone Vigil or DD.

I wanna start playing MCH. Which guide's the best to start off with?

So I spent about 6000 blue crafter scrips on various ingredients and after looking at the history it seems as though only one item sells every few days. This feels like a huge mistake.

Tanking in general makes me a little nervous. I've been leveling it as an experiment to see how much I can put up with before giving into the anxiety.

Some things just weren't meant to be, I guess. At least there's still the option to run old content with the bare minimum amount of people required to succeed. I wouldn't mind 3-manning T8 one day, actually. It'd be fun.

Absolutely. I mostly idled the whole time at the benches these two days that I've been off work, but I'm getting close to hitting level 40 with my Brd, and that means I'm getting closer to the "better" dungeons of the game.

I also bought the Witcher 3 with all the expansions and all that jazz for my ps4 and... that's all I've been playing the whole time yesterday. Gorgeous game. I'm glad I waited to get a console to play it, since my PC is a potato. Excellent for balacing out the feeling Bloodborne gives me after a couple of hours of playtime; its atmosphere is just a bit too much sometimes, and it's nice to change the pace a bit with a more relaxing, colorful and immersive RPG.

Stone Vigil is one of my favorite leveling dungeons. That and Brayflox's Longstop.

Farming for Sephi/Thordan birds has been a less than exciting time. DF really brings out the bad people, holy shit. So many bads on Sephi. At least Thordan is relatively easy, but I've done 30 runs the past 2 days and haven't seen a single one drop.

Don't forget that the JPs have a ton of really, really fucking awful players too. Helpful community or not, bad players are in the east and the west.

Do both, man. If you're gonna MT you might as well have both DRK and PLD at 60 and geared so you can switch depending on what kinda damage you're primarily dealing with. PLD's HW toolkit is also neato as fuck, even if some of it doesn't see a lot of use, like Clemency.

Japs also handle PF/DF differently. Unless it's changed, they used DF for clears and PF for learning. Western DF is usually where people learn and fully expect to wipe and abandon.

This is honestly how it should be. The only time PF should be used (for combat stuff) is making groups for the current EX Primal at whatever point in time it is.
Why it doesn't work like that in the west, I'll never know.

I can only speak from my own experience, but they grasp most extremes well. Sephi final phase is its own story because a lot of people (both E and J players alike) panic and forget mechanics. All it takes is one guy forgetting his tower and it's ogre.

Basically this. JP servers get glorified quite a bit here and it's probably true, but you get your occasional shitter every once in a while. They're easy to spot inside of WC/VA and of course extreme trials. They do exist, and are abundant. The upside is they are a little less toxic when it comes to wipes, and if they fuck up they generally throw out an "i'm sorry" almost immediately.

For the most part this is correct, but just like most servers at this point the learning parties have diminished quite a bit. You'll get eso bonuses in extreme trials, but they usually fuck up once, ask why, and they get a whole paragraph telling them what to do and to not worry about it.

It generally takes about 3-4 wipes or hitting the 15m mark before a group disbands in PF.

So I need some WAR advice from you people.
Apparently you usually hold on to your Infuriate whenever you can Berserk. Makes sense, you want to triplecleave whenever possible.
However, I'm not sure about what to do with your Abandon stacks if they don't perfectly line up with Berserk coming out of cooldown (so whenever you don't have 4 or 5 at the end of a combo).
Is it better to wait until you have 4-5 stacks again or should you just hold on to your stacks right before a Berserk, potentially wasting two?

Berserk shouldn't be held onto at all, if you're only going to double cleave you don't need to stress too hard. Only 3cleave needs actual GCD timing(press Berserk after Heavy Swing)
