Why isn't the NCR the best faction for the Mojave?

lonesome road's story was such dogshit, holy shit. Almost mothership tier.

They become spread too thin and aren't able to wrestle control over it the same way they can in California, while at the same time, they impose laws and regulations that don't necessarily jive with the culture that folks in New Vegas are used to.

The corruption only grows and spreads from that point on.

I would say that the NCR is the best faction if the higher ups weren't so power hungry. Most of the civilians and troopers are decent and honest people, but the higher you go up the political chain, the more corrupt it gets.

Did you forget everything the game told you about them? Did you forget that Graham's allegiance was with the New Canaanites and Zion Tribals? He worshiped god, not Caesar.

Ulysess completely lost faith in the Legion over time as a Frumentarii. He saw his family butchered at Dry Wells, he wears his hair in braids because he still has an allegiance to them.

Being Legion WAS an important part of their character. Sorry. What I'm saying is the Legion was a very important part of their current character. Without Legion fucking them up, Ulysses wouldn't have became this angsty misguided asshole and Graham wouldn't have became this sentimental burned man.
