Scout took skill. You had to master air control and double jumping in order to be hard to hit instead of a simple dash ability.

You had to be very close to do damage in addition to being very accurate. You could not hang back and pin the trigger to drag a DPS cone at your targets.

You had to manage reloads of individual shells instead of reloading all your shots in one go very quickly.

If you fucked up or overextended you were dead. You did not have a free escape card and a self heal.
