How's everyones day going?

Oh look, another OP with skimpy anime girls. Why don't we rename the general to softcore porn general?

I was deleting some old bookmarks because too many piled up over the years, and I came across a Rockstar page I bookmarked almost 10 years ago for a game called Agent on PS3. The game must have flown over my radar because I completely forgot about it, but can't find it on amazon or gamestop's site. Was it digital only?

My Freud's boys do you have a list of games releasing this month?

playstationlifestyle.net/august-2016-ps4-ps3-ps-vita-new-release-video-games/

Why?

The only game worth getting this month is SnK

I'd appreciate if you could stop posting here.

I had no idea PDX was this month. I never finished platting f 2nd, or got the first.
wew

>buying a game with a slut who takes it in from MS and Valve

Never ever user

I'm here with you forever

Platting those games is a chore anyways, you have to do the stupid diva room stuff for it.

>Agent is an upcoming stealth action video game developed by Rockstar North. In July 2007, Sony announced that Rockstar was working on a new exclusive game for the PlayStation 3, but details of the project, including its title, were not announced until June 2009 during the Sony press conference at E3.
>The game is set during the Cold War and will take players into "the world of counter-intelligence, espionage and political assassinations", according to a Rockstar press release. Rockstar has yet to reveal any details regarding the setting other than that it will be set in the late 1970s.
>Announced in 2007 exclusively for PS3, little was heard about the game after 2009 and it was thought to have been cancelled, although Take-Two confirmed in May 2011 that Agent was still in development. In July 2013, Take-Two Interactive registered two trademarks for the game. They renewed both in January 2016.

>Michael Shorrock, SCEA's director of third-party relations, wrote on the official US PlayStation blog, "as part of our long standing relationship with Rockstar, and the incredible success for both companies with the cultural icon that is Grand Theft Auto we've agreed to the PlayStation exclusive rights of the next great franchise from the Rockstar studios." Nothing more was revealed about the new franchise except the clarification that it would not be L.A. Noire.
>According to Shorrock, "Rockstar really wanted to make a game that you can truly only do on PS3" and added that the reason Sony locked the IP down as an exclusive deal was because Sony believed the franchise would "set the bar for the rest of the industry."
>Ben Feder, former president of Rockstar parent Take-Two Interactive, said that the game would be "genre-defining" and "a whole new way of experiencing videogames that we haven't really seen before."

Thank you
Just go fap to mikaslut

Can't wait for the SFM porn and all the girls getting railed by niggerdicks.

I'll post all the mikasa ones here for us to enjoy and cuck YNA.

>On 7 September 2009, in a Question and Answer section on their blog, Rockstar stated that Agent could be released as early as 2010, though Take-Two did not comment on the subject until March 2010, confirming that Agent was still in development.
>On 9 June 2010, Take-Two confirmed that Agent was still planned as a PS3-exclusive title.
>On 24 May 2011, after nearly two years since Agent was announced at E3 2009, Take-Two confirmed the title was still in active development, even though it had never been seen by the public up to that time.
>However, SCEA CEO Jack Tretton said at E3 2011 that he was unsure over Agent's PS3 exclusivity and that it was a decision for Rockstar Games to make.

>On 15 August 2011, Leigh Donoghue, a former Rockstar North environmental artist who worked on Grand Theft Auto IV and Agent posted the first images of Agent in his online resume. The shots show a character as well as various indoor environments from the game. Both of the images clearly mention that they were made in 2009.
>On 1 August 2012, when asked about Agent at Take Two's Q1 2013 report, Take-Two CEO Strauss Zelnick said "we haven't announced anything about that title".
>With the announcement of the PlayStation 4 on 20 February 2013, there was an expectation that Agent may have moved to become an exclusive PlayStation 4 title. However, there was no mention of the game at the launch, but developer Rockstar had signed up to support the PlayStation 4.
>When asked if Agent was still a PlayStation 3 title after the press conference of the PlayStation 4 reveal during a roundtable media session, Sony Worldwide Studios boss Shuhei Yoshida said "You are asking the wrong person. I have some knowledge, but I'm not in a position to talk about it."
>In July 2013, Rockstar's parent company, Take-Two Interactive, renewed its trademarks of the "Agent" brand.

>In December 2015, a few new screenshots from between 2009 and 2010 were revealed by former Rockstar artist Darren Charles Hatton. The artist said the art team was taken off the Agent project and reassigned to Grand Theft Auto V, adding that "not sure if this project will ever be published."

How was the Bratwurst?

Pretty good. Nürnberger rostbratwürste are the best.

I was okay with doing a few head pats between songs.

>in 2016 some user made up MS bought Agent rights and everyone believed him

I don't remember all of it, but F 2nd was far worse to plat because of unlocking shit from the songs. There were some stupid requirements like getting 3939 combo notes in I'm gonna miku miku you or some shit like that, or having a random number in miss / sad / safe / good / cool. The first one wasn't half as bad, you could also spam gifts and raise their friendship like that. X apparently is even worse to plat because modules randomly drop in songs now.

>modules randomly drop in songs now.

Well, that's at least what I heard. Some people were complaining about that you could get duplicates or something like that, which means that you'll have to beat shit songs a bunch of times.

I'm having a shit atm.

Wish I got WiFi in my bathroom so I could remote play.

What games you bois playing? Anything good?

They do, play the demo and that's basically how it works. You get them for doing chance times on the dumb quest mode thing

Metal Arms: Glitch in the System.
Playing Ape Escape 2 rekindled my love for dodgy PS2 games.

Yes, you have my respect.

I'm mashing buttons and try to learn how not to mash buttons.

Are you ready?

I thought Gal Gun had a demo. Was it for a limited time or something?

I have a friend who keeps fucking up and buying games at full price digitally, and then I leech off of him. I wish he made that mistake with this, because I want to witness it all first hand. Just like The Division.

I don't go digital unless I really have to. There is something sentimental about owning a hard copy with the box art and all.

Same. I'm an odd level of nostalgiafag. I just like it when he pays for shit I would never pay for, and since it's digital and we have our accounts swapped on consoles, I get it regardless.

I'm ready for the shitstorm when the game ends up being nothing like what they've shown us.

>ends up being
It already has, bud.

>mfw update 4.0 is shit

What do you want to see in it?

UI overhaul

Hey guys is there a recommended HDD to get when upgrading the PS3's or does any of them work as long as they fit?

>PS3

There's no fucking sony general on this board so where else would I ask?

There's one on the JP store.

Vitagen.

Any mate, you literally can't do worse than the one already in.

Been a while since I even though about that though so make sure it's a supported memory size.

You ask here and ignore dumb frogs, this is common sense.

For the biggest flop of 2016? Sure.

Hmm yeah. Nothing beats charred Rindawurst thou gh.

*Rindswurst though.

...

Hussy.

Elphelt is pure, she just wants a husband.

Yeah, and anyone would do as long as they have enough money. Sounds just like any harlot on the street.

Who /NMS/ here? The leaks got me hyped.

Honest question. How can anyone be hyped especially after the leaks? It just seems so boring to me, it's like a half assed space sim.

Fuck you. I spent thousands of dollars on this game. It's going to be great.

Honestly it looks like some kind of survival open world game like sabnautica for 60 fucking dollars.

I wonder if Sony is the reason why it costs $60. Minecraft and Subnautica are fucking $20.

I know value can be subjective, but NMS for $60 is a bigger scam than selling a short AAA game like The Order for the same price.

...

I could understand if it really was a full fledged games, with RPG mechanics and a shit ton of content. But from the leaks it looks just as incomplete as those two, and they're fucking early access. It looks like a lot of sony funded games turn out to be utter garbage, like SFV.

that's a big image

>The leaks got me hyped
Fucking how. I wasn't excited for it or anything, and I was taking the leak stuff with a grain of salt since day one patches seem to be pretty substantial these days, but the whole thing sounds like a pretty big trainwreck.

> Battleborn gets an influx of new players
> I immediately want to stop playing the game because they have no idea what they're doing and barely seem to try

The sales are working, but at what cost!?!?!?!?!

Also Alani is the most fun healer to play as because you can switch between healer and DPS easily and both feed into the other. They've switched Ambra around to this fact but she's still harder to use.

>battleborn

Look at this Ojousama!
Tell me she is not Kawaii!
TELL ME!

Yea I know it's not great but I got the game for free and the season pass for like $5. For the $5 I've invested, I've definitely gotten my money's worth. Also it's hilarious that they went out of their way to downplay the waifus and literally all the waifu-able characters are the most played.

No More heroeS?

I can't bring myself to get it even for free, I played the open beta or whatever and was literally bored to tears.

Does checking the availability of a PSN name by hitting next leave that name unavailable?
I didn't even finish registering, I just closed the window and now both names I planned on using are unavailable, it's ridiculous because it asks for a PSN new handle again even if you log in. FML

Wouldn't make any sense for it to do that since your account isn't finalised but maybe it does. Never had that issue

It's a lot better than it was in Beta, From the Beta Thorn is actually playable and they fixed her face a bit so it's less Brianna Wu and more angry elf, closer to her concept art.

If it had launched in this condition, they probably wouldn't have had to fight so much to get people to play it. I wouldn't recommend going out of your way to play it though, if you can get it for free or cheap it's the best way to play it.

Moderately cute, better than memewatch's characters anyway.

jasonwilson-folio.blogspot.com/p/art-and-game-design-medievil.html
Came across this since I'm playing through Medievil right now. Thought maybe you guys would like to take a look.
I love the ones that are actual sketchbook pages. Even as I'm going into digital art at my university, I love seeing stuff like that opposed to the Photoshop works that make up every game's concept art these days.

>Get star ocean because I'm a fucking idiot.
>Going around taking like a dozen battles to get 1 piece of rush bar
>Get Synthesis 6 wires fuse into Insignivon
>Its ability is +7 to rush gauge
>Get a stupid Idea
>Synth six more swords
>Use augmentation
>Augment two accessories
>Both are +7 +7 +7 to rush gauge
>TFW +49 to rush gauge
>Literally takes like a couple hits to fill one rush gauge segment

this is so fucking broken.

So, honestly, how long do you thin its gonna be before CC.corp/Bumco announce SoA or .hack for this thing?

AE2 has the European dub which is shit apparently. I never played the original but it loses its appeal for me without the US dub.

I think IBM started developing a SOA game alraedy for VR. It looks like shit.

youtube.com/watch?v=5OLPWdo_6mQ

>ps vr

oh hey, i completely forgot about that being a thing

Nah, that was a one-time cross promotion they were running to display "The power of IBM". People just blew shit out of proportions because everyone that originally reported on it didn't speak a word of Japanese.

Also on a note not entirely related to that but somewhat related to what I mentioned. Cyberconnect2 has been teasing that they were preparing to do 'something major' on the PS4. Its probably gonna be a game rendition of one of their "stuck in a vr world" franchises, I wouldn't be surprised if it had VR support as a gimmick/addon at least if not as a full blown focus feature.

Its a little over two months away (October 13th.)

it LITERALLY has no games

i seen some people play social meet up games on the oculus and shit, the thing sounds like its more suited for porn and social type of stuff

its going to take a miracle for that thing to have something on it being worth the buy

I'm a yuropoor, so it's fine by me.

Our version was published by Sony which is probably why they just put that up on both, US was Ubisoft so they'd have to get licencing and all sorts.

The dub isn't bad per se it's just different, US had Ash and Misty and people liked that but they changed VAs every game, EU was pretty consistent but not with any of the same semblance of quality.

Also confused why the description on PSN uses the American character names even though the EU dub uses the Japanese names, slightly horribly pronounced anyway.

AC7 and GT Sport are the only games I can think of as worth getting it for and fuck that amount of money for a gimmick peripheral for 2 games.

It has more games than the Rift and Vive. Fucking FromSoftware is confirmed to be working with it.

Oculus and PSVR are two different things. At launch, if you're not interested in any indie and "experience" titles, you still have Cowwa Doode Farter warfaire, Driveclub VR, and Ace Combat 7, Resident Evil 7, which are all AAA titles and cover majorit of gamers because FPS/Racing/Flight/Horror

Then you have games like Rigs which is basically a mecha combat esport fusion. Golem which is for lelexploration. EVE valkyrie for your space combat.

Then you have the smaller couple hours long experiences announced at E3 to sell people on the headset like Batman Arkham VR, Battlefield X-wing VR, Battlezone.

Hell, even No Man's Scam is gonna be PSVR compatible.

I guess it shouldn't make a difference if I never played the original. It's still a good selling point knowing it was Ash and Misty.

you some kind of ape escape trivia master?

To add to this, Sony is sinking a lot of money into third party developers making sure this doesn't become just a gimmick.

God knows unlike the playstation eye or playstation move, this thing sold enough pre-orders alone to guarantee at least a healthy number of titles coming out around launch. The userbase will be there, the titles are already bought up by Sony to make sure everyone will have something in the launch window coming out for them (So between october and february) Its all up to people now, if they like it and buy these titles, more WILL come. And people will by more titles if the ones that are offered in the launch window end up being fun and don't induce any strain or nausea, etc... Which, at least according to previews and people that went to different expos and demos, won't be an issue.

It's pretty fucking funny that PSVR will end up having the best looking VR games.

>PSVR complete setup: $800
>PCVR complete setup: $1500+

Oculus and Vive owners have $1500+ worth of equipment to play $20 games made by tiny indie teams.
While PSVR will have at least some $60 games developed by experienced developers.
PC evangelists can harp on about muh master race as much as they like but when there is basically nobody funding titles big enough to take advantage of all that power then its just a waste.

And with Valve showing no interest in funding games (except giving out small interest free loans to indies) and Facebook having zero game development experience I don't see that changing.
Meanwhile Playstation have the money, resources and the willingness to fund titles.

Now how successful these first gen VR devices will be I'm not going to predict, but I do think VR will get big eventually.
