I had a 2000, though it was exactly the same as the 1999. Drove smoother than my buddies 2012 honda CRV and was way comfier, absolutely amazing car to travel in and camp. The sound system was trash and usually burns out, and the oil pan seal/main seals have issues, you'll most likely see small leaks which arent really an issue. I started leaking at 180k and took it to 250k no problem. Make sure you check oil often as that engine also burns a good amount.

Would say for the year and its class, solid 9/10.
