You are correct. I own an LS1 car with ram air and it has no measurable difference from the regular under car intake. You might get ~5 hp difference at 100+ mph but at that point you are suffering from so much aero drag that you won't see much difference.

Took a mugen in on trade once. Same color and eve4ything. Beat to shit with 120k on the clock. When we were appraising it the guy goes for the love of god please put in its a mugen because that's the only thing giving it value. Have him 1500 for it. Sits in our auction lot for a few days till some kids spot it. They wouldn't stop asking us for weeks to part out the mugen specific stuff or sell it to them.
