Im tired AF but I could write an article on Blizzard games and Overwatch.

TLDR its streamerbait and fans of streamerbait with a mild comp scene.

Actual skilled players will not play it for long, as its a limiting game (All blizzard games are heavily limiting) and much like hearthstone though SUBSTANTIALLY MORE skill involved than hearthstone, it is a safe game. it will reliably net Blizzard cash. Thats all they want.

It will always be top in streaming on twitch, it will have some hardcore players. It will never be a game that truly skilled and capable players gravitate towards.

Im not saying BnS is that either, but Im saying that the community for overwatch will be babbling idiot fanboys or their leaders. Thats it.

the game has large presence and thus draws from all other online games. Thus its directly relevant to BnS population but most people playing Overwatch will simultaneously play MMOs - and they will keep playing those MMOs after Memewatch is uninstalled. As they do with MOBA, and FPS games.
