Dickplomacy user, is this a bug or a feature? I'm a lowly mercenary with a team of 12 paraplegic chucklefucks. I joined the battle to help Harlaus fight off Graveth & Co. and then I was suddenly in charge of battle, nobody moved without my command, even Harlaus himself. And no, I don't have any butter in the inventory.

on the bright side though the allied lord AI won't suicide all of their troops with you in command~

default is the vanilla scenes with two ladders and some minor bugfixes to entries and doors
new town scenes are huge scenes for vaegir and swadian towns where the towns are actually full fledged towns rather than giving the illusion of a town. this affects sieges and bandit ambushes though and has long loading times for toasters

rus faces are the default faces used for the mod
corprus faces are the "lolimod" faces, they don't have aged versions though
native is vanilla faces

No adultery yet, but I'll be adding it down the line

Im playing Viking Conquest, my goal is to become king of Ireland.

So far i am a mercenary for the Tribe of Osirge, and becoming best buddies with all their lords. I was planning on becoming a vassal and taking a fort or city with their aid, and then breaking against the king and taking the remaining land they own.

They only have 1 city and 1 fort, with 4 lords so i thought it would be easy to conquer.

Will this plan work? What level should i get my right to rule to?

if you're going through the effort of restoring a claimant I don't see the point of leaving him and all the fiefs you'd have accrued fighting for him

I usually just try to keep a stable (yet negative, to sell shit to bandits) reputation, curry favor with the lords in my faction, then rebel
if you're not down with that you could strike out on your own, store high quality troops in a refuge while attacking caravans as a merc/minor vassal to a certain kingdom
leave that kingdom and pick the weakest town (not castle) you can find, attack with large force of elite troops and build a kingdom from there

last VC game I played I rebelled holding Temair, Dubh Linn and most of the surrounding castles
not sure if you can change your kingdom name from Goidelic Rebels though, never went that far

there is a version of WSE for 1.168. The working warband .exe and version of WSE is bundled with the mod
