1st for Yorshka
kalameet is so fucking cool

I don't want to live in this world anymore.
/dsg/ I've been good to you. Now please tell me that the DLC areas will allow for smooth lvl 120 invasions.... these locations are meant for high-level end-game playthroughs in all of FROM's games.
yes this is a repost because new bread went up soon as I posted it
wrong thread, much?
xth for FUCK BUTCHER KNIFE
How the fuck do I farm Giant Lord as a melee character?
>touch fluffy kot
tickle his toes and move out of his very predictable moveset.
He's literally the last giant 2.0
Why does fromsoft hate giant bosses so much, Yhorm was terrible too even though he had the best story and buildup for the fight happening and they just make it into a damn gimmick fight to reference Demon's Souls.
you fucking dodge his attacks, he's literally the second part of the Last Giant boss fight.
Why would you farm souls, do you want to fight max level Havels?
No, DLC will be for level 50 and 70, no one in their right mind would leave boss of a totally optional area with late game materials amd items alive for invasions.
The best.
>get sent home as a madman after killing a phantom
man that sucks
I want to kill them all
this really doesn't belong here
regardless, fucking revolting display of what happens when you allow frontier justice to run rampant
Things DS3 improved upon from the older games :
>Mob infighting in ways that makes sense
>Rapport is useful now
>levels feel pretty massive
>best castle level yet
>trash mobs are satisfying to fight again
>levels are really atmospheric
>low-threshold invading that doesn't need a specific covenant
>armors with DS2 cloth physics, DS1 graphical quality and Demon's Souls tier design
I want my character to be as strong as possible for the DLCs.
Fucking animals. I guess Trump is right about refugees. I don't want to live together with these assholes.
>DS1 graphical quality
have the fixed the flashsword bug yet?
It's not really going to matter after the softcaps. You can beat every dlc with a level 100 character easily except for the boss fights.
>you can do a jumping attack while running
>online that actually works most of the time
just killed bed of chaos.
i want to do the dlc stuff before I move on to the final boss.
from firelink shrine was the shortest route sanctuary garden (I have every non dlc warp point).
thanks
>Mob infighting in ways that makes sense
I really wish we saw some angel knights fighting lothric knights.
For a massive religious war, there sure seems to be very few angel knights.
What?
>better soundtrack
>most bosses are good
Has anybody ever fought this guy at pontiff?
I've literally never seen a better UGS user in the game. He fucking flawlessed me twice on three different characters with different builds and I couldn't get close no matter how I approached him because he'd abuse the fuck out of his hyper armor frames PERFECTLY on top of his spacing being *literally* immaculate.
God damn this guy is so fucking good. He kept deadangling all of his fucking attacks and rollcatching me doing it because he was perfectly anticipating my rolls and shit.
>>most bosses are good
but highly forgettable
github.com
Why is "angrypenguin" censored?
No, but at least that's a faithful Guts cosplay.
sometimes it does piss all damage (like single digit damage) at random.
Which is annoying because I just respecced my miracle character to also be able to use sorceries
>can't get the blue variant of the Cathedral set
>only get the shitty brown-red version
>having recolors at all
it was ok when DeS did it. it was interesting then. But doing that shit again after it's been gone from the last 2 games is kind of dumb
What I mean is that DS1 had nice, shiny textures for Armor, but didn't have the cool-ass cloth physics of DaS2, which OTOH had kinda plastic textures for metal.
DS3 combines the good sides with design that's reminiscent in a good way of Demon's Souls but using it's own design and also utilizing shit from DaS2 such as cloth bits that utilize the cloth physics.
It was me who asked that, but I haven't made that build yet.
Also it was about infusable weapons, not buffables ones. You preferably want it Dark or Chaos infused, not buffed.
Is this the one true Guts?
God fucking damn, he just might be.
Imagine if he didn't use such an awfully underpowered weapon. Good god that would be utterly fucking horrifying
Your opinion.
>three different characters with different builds
??
STOP
SEARCHING
FIND
SOMETHING
This guy has fucking earned his right for the Guts cosplay. Few things piss me off as much as a "Guts" with a Darksword.
>He doesn't have three quality characters
git real
Can Looking Glass Knight summon me if I use Cracked Blue Eye Orb?
Am I the only one who thinks his armor looks gay?
Anor Londo -> Duke's Archives -> Firelink Shrine -> Valley of Drakes -> Darkroot Basin
No, and yes.
Yes.
No. I think it's not even an armor and that he's a statue.
It's very gay.
According to that awful wiki a +7 upgrade can invade people who have +10
Is this correct?
user, please.
>LGK is a statue
>this is his body
>he's naked all the time
>that awful wiki
HOL UP
I remember hearing that that girl was actually a bad person, and helped murder cab driver or something
So what is the source of this slutty statue anyway?
I even have a few pictures saved but I have no idea.
reminder that turning on poise in DaS3 is an instaban
I wish I knew
What's the difference between this and the old one?
Haven't bought DaS3 yet, are you guys memeing or does poise actually not exist? If I'm wearing full Havel's and someone hits me with a dagger R1, will I stagger or not?
>pvp duel
>guy starts throwing fancy spells around and chugging ashen flasks
>jump off the stage
>Choir cunt in Byrgenwerth uses Call Beyond
>1 (one) projectile hits me and kills me
I know I'm on ng+, but what the fuck, I got 41 vitality for fuck sakes and was near full health
yes, you will.
in fact it even works worse than DaS2.
You will. But don't worry, it's as intended.
Usually criminal prosecution and sentencing takes place in a court of law so people aren't just burned alive based on what people "think" happened.
Make no mistake though, if some nigger would hurt my family, I'd want that fucker burned too, but that doesn't mean I'd generally want kangaroo courts to randomly burn people in the streets.
I assumed he met three characters named "Guts" and thought they all belong to the same player
call beyond is op. its not just one projectile hitting you. its like a dozen
You will unless you're hit during specific windows of specific weapon animations and your poise hasn't yet been reduced to zero.
In other words, hyperarmor = poise.
Some people think this is a Reddit conspiracy designed to trell everyone, but the data is there if you use CE.
Yea. Heavy armour is useless and EVERBODY runing a 40/40 build.
>he doesn't know
I know, I'm just saying that she wasn't an angel that this randomly happened to
looks like the work of scas
>someone does something I don't like
>quit because he's a dirty "cheater" who should play by my rules
No, I tried fighting him on a quality, pyro, and str/vit
I died miserably each time, but the pic you see of the halberd (quality build) was my most successful attempt since I got a hit on him.
That guy is a fucking GOD at using ultra weapons.
No, I mean literally 1 arrow hit me, all the others were blocked by the stair case or I dodged them
>If I'm wearing full Havel's and someone hits me with a dagger R1, will I stagger or not?
Really though does anyone know?
I am wondering if I should stay +7 for my level 50 invader character or go up to +8.
If I can invade fully upgraded players with +7 then I might as well stay that so I can keep invading lower upgraded people in irithyll and maybe even demon ruins.
How does /dsg/ feel about those leaked screenshots of stuff that's not in the final game.
$10 its going to be in the dlc
Never have an odd weapon memory level, always go even
>tfw no burial armour
not as bad as i felt over how ds2 looks
why the fuck couldn't they just wait until ps4/xbone
Who the fuck said Cathedral is fun to invade? It's always some dude waiting at the bonfire.
According to that awful wiki again a +8 can invade down to +5, like what?
I thought it was always two down, two up.
Does it suddenly go 3 up when you're +5?
>Does it suddenly go 3 up when you're +5?
yes
that's why you should always go +9, because everyone postpontiff is +6
lel
Never thought I'd see a Zizek/Dark Souls crossover, but here we are.
Technically that shit *is* in the game, it's just something you see for maybe 20-30 seconds in the distance.
My biggest disappointment was that that serpent wasn't in the game.
A lot of the preview screenshots looked imo worse than what we actually got in the game so there's that.
Here.

Knock yourself out
Old "poise" table just gave you passive hyperarmor, basically making you virtually unstaggerable unless you got hit a dozen times in rapid succession. It was put together as a troll to bamboozle the gullible (eg. you) into believing that filedivers had "discovered" poise arbitrarily disabled in the game files. It was hilariously effective pot-stirring.
This is a variation of the tool that was used to confirm the existence and actual function of poise. It tracks your current poise health (a value out of 100) and whether or not hyperarmor is active during your current action. It can be used to determine the poise damage various attacks inflict, the poise modifier on hyperarmor attacks, and the actual hyperarmor window as well as tracking how much poise you have left before hyperarmor fails and when it refreshes, which are all values hidden from you ingame.
Levels are divided in segments where you use the orb. Using it near the bonfire makes you appear close to it. Just invade while inside
Well shit then, I've been playing on and off since release and I honestly did not know this.
Good to know, thanks.
Thanks.
oh
NG+ is so brutal. Wearing the heaviest armor in the game and the boss chains me for almost 1000 hp and severely dissapoints the 2 phantoms I had summoned.
I shudder to imagine NG+5
thoughts?
trying a regen build, for invasions mostly
also
they really need to buff vit, even with 25 and fap/ havenl+2 you can wear fuckall if you have a big weapon
because armor doesn't mean fucking shit in this game because fromsoft fucked everything fuck fuck fuck fuck
Difference between elite knight and full havel is like 10% absorb because FUCK YOU FILTHY GAIJIN
The segment covered by the orb at the entrance of Cathedral of the Deep covers almost the entire area leading up to the indoors section. You will typically spawn an incredibly long distance from the bonfire no matter what.
Also, friendly reminder that the host's proximity to an invasion spawn point disables it, forcing the invader to use a different, more distant spawn point.
just got to pontiff
so far it's been easy as fuck
i swear dancer was easier than NG
>NG+
>not having 40+ Vig
>SL120
>invasions
DaS3 looked more interesting before it became sepia toned and desaturated.
the day/night mechanic they seemed to have was promising
as was showing your secondary weapon on your back.
also it seems like kiln was going to have some sort of cutscene
stopped leveling immediately after NG for LE META XD
How do you not have 40+ Vig at SL 125?
