ITT We post credit scores

>I-I-don't know mine

I've never gotten mine checked

>credit history too new to determine
Do I have to actually wait the full year?

Eurofag here, I don't think we have an equivalent to an independent global score (and thank god for that). The whole system of credit scoring is bullshit.

I remember my late father attempted to order from Dell a couple of years ago and they basically told him to fuck off because they couldn't determine his creditworthiness - because my father had never missed a single payment in his life, never had a credit card, never had any kind of credit. So his history came up as a blank and they refused to do business with him (can't remember anymore, but it was on the order of several thousand bucks what my father wanted to have shipped). It's fucked up if you are punished for being good with money. For both sides, since relying on that stupid data means you miss out on good business.

A couple of months ago I had this hour-long conversation with my bank. They basically told me they were going to lump me in with the bad credit people in their internal scoring system, because I didn't have an overdraft limit. I have 6 figures parked at that bank alone, but apparently they can only determine my creditworthiness if I have an overdraft limit and don't use it. Not having a limit in the first place does not improve my standing. After 20 minutes I finally got it out of them that the system was %-based. So now I have a 1 Euro overdraft limit of which I never use more than 20%, so I'm now apparently creditworthy. Jesus fucking Christ...

Credit score is a bullshit system made to keep statistics of plebs for bankers to use. It's a good idea to keep it good if you're a middle class plebian, but if you're a wealthy individual, you literally never worry about that.

>never owned a credit card
>never taken a loan

Feels good.

Feels good man

Just wait until you turn 18

Good luck getting a house. I hope you're gonna buy it in cash.

This can actually negatively affect job prospects, the ability to rent an apartment, and will basically disallow you from getting a housing loan.

Nice try.
>debt is your friend, goy

not everyone is an americuck, user

>be me
>not American
>thus don't have a credit score

Never felt so good living out of your country that's just full of absurd rules (from credit score to not having sex with your 17-year-old gf while you're 18)

>not knowing about romeo/juliet laws

Huh? Tell me.

not in every state. be very careful about this shit! just this week a story from Wisconsin broke where a 17yo is charged as an adult for fucking his 15yo girlfriend. she also sent him nudes, so ad posession of child pornography. yup, things are not looking pretty for him.

Many states have romeo/juliet laws that allow couples within a certain age difference to have sex without it being considered statutory rape.

But like stated there are places where you can get fucked for it and other stupid shit (underage sexters get charged with distributing child pornography).

What you third-world faggots don't understand is that a credit score is just a convenient form of underwriting to simplify obtaining credit.

Anyone who extends credit does some form of underwriting, to assess your ability to repay the loan. In your shithole countries, they apparently do this manually and individually. This undoubtedly leads to lengthy delays and inconsistent results. Is it any wonder your economy is garbage compared to the U.S.?

In the States, anyone who wants to extend credit can check an applicants score, online, within 60 seconds. As the consumer, I get my decision right away, and because I also know my credit score, I can pretty much tell when its going to be a yes or a no in advance. There's no guess work, no wasted time, and the economy benefits.

Stop being jealous of America. Just git gud, shit countries.

tfw overdraft just got declined

>caring about your good goy points
