I think fully-modded Hunting Shotgun is better, but it's been a long time.

A pain in the ass, about 75% of the quests has atleast a speech check which makes the missions alot more easier. It's Obsidian we're talking about here.

Barter doesn't matter yo, just as useless as medicine.

The Legion isn't really a bad choice, it's just they were so rushed it's probably not as fleshed out as the devs would have wanted. The problem with them is that Caesar never names a successor (you the player), after the dam, so once he dies the Legion will crumble. They have a few merits, discipline, order, and the ability and desire to keep conquered territory safe. So, apart from the murdering of everyone, and their backwards stance on the use of chems and technology are really the only downsides I can see.

Here's a quickfix to make him not squishy as shit as well. He made the mod to help me out, and if I recall he had used similar stats to Boone (which fits fine)
