Since Blizzard keeps track of time played per hero, wouldn't that mean they knew who your favorite characters were? Which means your 'luck' with loot boxes leans more toward getting rewards for other heroes instead of the ones you play most? This way they force you to farm much longer to get the skins/poses you want to the point where you're forced to buy loot boxes just to not go insane?

I'm starting to suspect that's the case. Look at all these anons who hate or don't play Tracer getting her Olympic skins, while wanting Lucio or Zarya skins. And all the people who hate Zarya and Lucio get their skins instead of Tracer's who they main.

To be quite frank this kind of explolitation is disgusting. You can tell me oh don't worry user, you're just unlucky. Well yeah, but luck in this case is a variable that Blizzard can and does manipulate. You can give 'weight' to luck so that more things happen more often. Random isn't always 'random'. Random is just the value that gets picked, and in this case Blizzard has full control over this variable and might be manipulating it in the way I described.

It's just straight up greed. They made so much money from sales, now they want money from loot boxes on an already premium game. If they weren't greedy, they wouldn't prevent people from purchasing this gear with in-game currency that they ALREADY PROMISED. Then they tried to cover it up. Trust me, Blizzard is not your friend here. They're a corporation like anyone else. There's no need to be a Blizzdrone, not in the current year.
