shame all the other mercs have that ipad sticking straight out of the console now. the GT S looks ridiculous.

Those gauges (they're just a video screen?) look terrible.

I find current Mercedes design to be way too ornamental. Gradients and embossing and 3D everything. I hate their infotainment system too, have to use that stupid knob and there are too many menus to get anything done.

It's not very puristic, if that's the sort of design your taste is.

neat

CLOWN FACE DASHBOARD.

They're not even hiding it anymore.

Would be amazing if Lincoln offered this for sale, perhaps as one of their 'black label' designer trims.

What exactly am I looking at?

Also, look what they introduced with the new E-Class.
Take a close look at the compass.

wat the fuck is that even on the american spec ones?

...

Not sure but it is a setting you can switch on.

...

o? Never Orifice Soggy Waffles?

This doesn't make any fucking sense user.

Didn't notice the O, why is E replaced with O?

oest
as in oesterreich

Why cant we have nice interiors anymore

>that
>nice

>your taste
>shit

"nice"

Old french cars had the best interiors

Looks comfy as fuck

Love the seats, mixed on the post-modern dash.

Came here to post the CX. Well done!

...

What, wut is this?

>digital gauges

Lincoln Continental, but with a blinged out concept interior (although only change from production is the finish/colour AFAIK).

Fucking Muslims

HAHAHAHA

Fucking NuWave

Perfection

Certainly the most functional.

...

>That shitty harness mount
lmao, enjoy your internal injuries and/or head through the windshield. rice rice baby.

If you're not going to have a 4 point cage or better don't get harnesses.

>Mercedes

I've always wondered, what happens in the case of these harness setups (not specifically the one in question) where the chassis gets side damage, enough to bend the tube holding the straps?
Surely the chances of it being squashed away from the drive would make it reasonably taught?

Either it fails completely or it bends in some direction that either smashes your body with the harness or renders the harness useless. Or in the unlikely event that you land on your roof you won't be able to contour to the collapsing roof. They are just a bad idea. a 4 point should be the minimum and six point being the only true safest.

Some harness bars are stout, but a lot of them like that one are shit tier. pic related.

>that fucking ugly ass two spoke steering wheel
why is that a thing again?

This can't possibly be real?!?!?!

...

the steering wheel and gauges together looks like a clown's face. try to unsee that. you cant

shit, beaten

What does Veeky Forums think of Porsche abandoning buttons?
carscoops.com/2016/05/scoop-porsche-says-nein-to-buttons-for.html

4th gen Preludes have a fucking great dash.

>abandoning buttons entirely
REEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE

just fuck my shit up

voice control is probably the best thing, actually

The German obsession with chrome accents kills me.

Voice control is cool when it works, but I can also see why people wouldn't like it if it means the car has to literally monitor every single spoken word inside the cabin.

I prefer no buttons.

And no side mirrors.

Nice flat screens. Wonder how will people look at them after 20 years. Will it be considered as a good classic design? They already look cheap and nearly outdated.

The dash is just plain metal.

They will be broken in 20 years.

New cars are completely disposable.

I dont get it

It has the direction to mecca on the compass because Mercedes is a muslim brand now and you need to know where to pray.

This cuckery has gotten too far

Call it tacky if you will, but to me it looks supremely comfy. Add air ride and maybe some extra noise insulation and you can legitimately call it a luxury truck.

It is.

*gets in car covered in mud*

It's just a modern feature, brah! Get with the times, I mean it's 2016!

true. and on/off button for it should be the only button you need, aside from the steering wheel stalks

>get into your truck during a rain storm

>have to reupholster to whole fucking interior

>not having dedicated driving Vans
>taking an alcantara upholstered truck offroad in the first place

>owning a truck
>never sets foot off road

Let's not pretend that trucks don't have on-road purposes as well.

Few to justify their alacantra-clad road queen status.

>having an alcantara upholstered truck

...

Looks like someone took a poo in it

It has wheels, it's registered, you're free to use it for whatever you want. Why should you limit yourself to sedans when you want a comfortable ride?

>nearly outdated
They already look outdated. Replacing the mechanical gauges with a bold flat display really looks like a cheap solution.

I don't like Panameras, I'm not into gauge displays but this actually looks good. Maybe except for the center console part.

Do you remember when Mercedes hired and trained 42 refugees?

autoblog.com/2015/11/09/mercedes-benz-refugee-internship-program-official/

These are the results.

lol'd

also, the expression of that blonde woman.

...

>that cameltoe

>disliking brown interior

Shit taste.

is that a car key inserted into the dashboard?
why does a $95,000 car not have standard keyless entry with push button ignition?
why does a NINETY FIVE THOUSAND DOLLAR car make you fumble for your key?

Is anything posted in this thread affordable?

How can we know your financial situation?

Is anything posted in this thread affordable at a budget of a $8,000 down payment and less than $400 per month for 60 months with 0-1.9% interest?

Even if you get KeylessGO, you can still insert and turn the key if you so desire.

>$8,000

If you are lucky.
?

I don't know, not on a truck. Trucks are meant for beating, user.

I want to argue because French but fuck you that looks too good.

everything about that but the dash and wheel are very nice to look at

Why? French made very good cars back in the day.

youtube.com/watch?v=6cRhfPOBhpc

Honestly I can almost smell it, nostalgic.

Iv actually driven that car and it is definitely a 10/10. Pretty much any Mercede's has a good interior, same with Audi.
