LBG itself is actually pretty shit in this game, however gainst some monsters who have lots of hitzones and are weak as fuck to element (Glavenus for example) you can kill them before running out of Internal Elemental Pierce ammo, so you use Parasol/Zamtrios etc. LBGs for those, and they will get fucking obliterated. But if the monster can't die before those shots are used up you're better off not using LBG at all because Lv 1 elemental rapid shots suck dick and you'll sit there for 15 minutes trying to kill something.

I never thought to confirm this in MH4U and now in MHgen, but is it true that quests are slightly easier in hunters hub if your offline? No one wants to help with this fucking plesioth, and have had everyone drop on what I was told on takeing turns. Number of people helped:4, number of times helped: 0. So I'm about to fucking do it alone offline, since I'm at work.

He briefly goes through them all and shows them off without really telling you which ones are good beyond his preferences, but other than that sure.

I mean otherwise just play with them yourself and find what works for you, or watch TAs to see what's really "the best".

So I've been playing aerial Greatsword and aerial Gunlance but I kind of want to change things up. I want to play adept Charge Blade because perfect guards are fun but I really hate how CB axe mode feels in general but love how sword mode feels and I love the stupid Energy Blade HA. Does Charge Blade have a good mode where I'm in sword 90% of the time or should I just abandon that outright, go HH and use Sound Smash to constantly to piss everyone off

I'd assume focus for the greater number of striking opportunities, but loading would provide greater damage and longer range

I've been using Lagiacrus S armor (Stamina Recover, Elemental +1, and gemmed in Piercing +1) combined with bows that have both an elemental attribute an Pierce S.

What should I look for in a Bow set now that I've unlocked my HR? Besides just FastCharge?
