Axe is a strength weapon mainly, you don't need much endurance, don't go arcane or bloodtinge first playthrough, now leave unless you really need help for the sake of not being spoiled anymore than you may have been.

I always need to tell someone if I need coop, nobody is playing and helping with bosses passively like in Darks Souls 3

You'll find a game usually through dungeons, but outside you can only do it while someone has summons and doesn't kill the woman with the sinister bell, which people usually do.

Forbidden Woods, Hypogean Gaol, and Ludwig I believe

Best Physical gems are in the Chalice dungeons, but main game you should farm the Winter Lanterns (singing Frenzy motherfuckers) in Mensis for cursed 19% Physical Droplet gems. There's 23% versions in the DLC.

But you can get equal/better gems as early as the Third Chalice Dungeon.

Online play exists to be used breh, jolly co-op is always good

I would recommend playing the game yourself a bit, getting the feel for it, and ask for help when you're more in tune with the combat and movement. It is a game best played blind.

Does anybody else feel like they didn't really get as much value out of DaS3? I was bored with it within 2 weeks.
Perhaps the reallocation of stats reduced re-playability or the small pool of viable builds for duels or the shitty 4v1 invasions.

I played through DaS3 twice, completely regretted pre-ordering it digitally. It wasn't as tight or fluid as Bloodborne, none of the consistency or visual flair in its environments, none of the interesting weapons, monster designs were terribly mundane and I'm still pissed about Aldrich being a disappointment design-wise. I remember /bbg/ saying, pre-release, that DaS3 was, perhaps half-jokingly, a stealth BB sequel and we were all excited for Aldrich because the trailer made it look like a huge eldritch horror.

It certainly wasn't the sum of its parts. There's cool stuff here and there, my highlights would be High Lord Wolnir's reveal in his arena just being cool, his theme is the best theme by far, Nameless King's design is top notch, and the whole idea of the Cathedral of the Deep is cool, cathedrals filled with monsters is awesome. But the rest, it just feels so fucking tired. I'm glad Dark Souls is over. I just wish it had ended sooner so Bloodborne could have gotten the more attention it deserves.

Dark Souls 3 felt like they saw the success of Bloodborne and incorporated many aspects of it, while forgetting that Bloodborne works because of the increased mobility, the gun parrying and the lack of weight limits being a concern.
The entire time I was playing it I couldn't help but think "jesus christ, another overly fast and aggressive boss?"

i forgot how unsettling the music is in the upper cathedral.

One of my favourites parts of that place is the subtle horror music soundtrack. It's curiously the only place to get an actual traditional soundtrack. I feel hubworlds don't count, and the Hypogean Gaol is arguable since it's what's termed diegetic, meaning it's music coming from within the scene itself, in this case Mensis ritual chanting. Always wondered why UCW got an ambient sountrack.

I know we got this, just takes a little persistence. I wish I remembered how to fight ebrietas, I know you hug the right side and alternate between attack and roll, but it's been so long. I'm just worried about Isz giving me a hard time.

So I'm going to go for a skill build on my new character instead of quality like last time. Thinking about using blade of mercy and rakuyo with the repeater pistol and maybe Evelyn but I'm not sure on that last one just yet. I started with soldier background. I should just be dumping into skill and bloodtinge, right? How high should I go for health and stamina? I remember the last time I asked a few months ago the recommended cap 25 endurance, but I'll be doing more dodging this time around. Anything else I should know? Pls help
