They should make the flipout higher on successful aa. Give everyone a chun dash under mixup for landing a good aa. That'd stop the jumping pretty fast.

Boxer already has that to an extent. A lot of it depends on how high you hit the opponent.

A successful aa gets you sub 100 damage, and most character's aa is finnicky like in kof 13.

A successful jumpin takes a meterless 30% up to half dead depending on resources spent.

The risk reward is way, way skewed.

Barring the Maxishillion of today he was one of the few people in the FGC that put in work to get new players. If you look at the assist me series it was great for people completely new to fighting games and just wanted to play. Nowadays people will go it's shit and cancerous but the biggest problem the FGC has is if some normie comes up and says "How do I play ::insert game here::" they'll link them to some 2 page forum post with number notations all in basic text and say "Learn all of this". No one's got time for that but passing on basic information with a funny video in 10 min or less. Yea, they'll do that. But he stopped being informative around the time of Injustice so... ehh.

I can't even agree with this. FGC implies competitive scene and Max doesn't market to the competitive crowd. He markets to the kind of people who buy the game and play for the first week only to drop it later but still obsess over the waifus in it.
