If I'm feeling DPS, I pick one regardless of game mode, since killing enemies is always important. That said I feel like I always get more mileage out of 76 on defense

Not much if you are playing defensive. But mostly the aggresive ones only switch to healing for the boost, using speed the whole time.
the practice range is more helpful imo
