Where's the best place to get Mystic Ore? I've had a rough time in the last couple explorations I've tried.

It's less than that you idiot, the chances of getting a 5* period is barely over 1%.
It's closer to half a percent, probably even lower considering the characters that share her banner also go to 5*.

Siren's Tower lowest floor is a good place or the Grandshelt Castle second floor due to the low energy costs and good chances to get Mystic Ores.

I finally have all I need to forge 2 rods of gravity Demon heart wise. Now I just need to grind out the Farplane Souls and the Dark Crysts.

I think so, they have to. It's anti-gambling legislation in Japan that forces them to show their rates. I don't think they'd do it if they weren't forced to.

We've always been able to get a close enough estimate of how much they increase the rates via surveys

For those needing Farplane souls, multiple mobs in BGN S-2&3 of the collosseum have them.

I still need to clear out the Colosseum to INT S-4 to grab the Angel Ring. I'm closing in on getting to INT A-5 so that Cecil can get an upgrade in weapon power with the Giant's Axe.

Once I clear out INT S-4, I will do BGN S-2/3 and raid the elementals for Farplane Souls.

We just overestimated Lighning's rates before. It's going to be less than 1%. All of the "work" that went into polling the results on Altema etc is flawed based on the assumption that unlucky people didn't answer the survey.

People who rolled Lightning were far more likely to report about it, so even with a huge sample size it's meaningless.
There is a bias in the statistics, and Lightningfags are forever blown the fuck out.

Nah. It's very rare that a game with good graphics is also good or has depth. It's just a complete waste of resources. Also you play as guys and I think most of the FF playerbase is out of highschool so they don't self insert anymore. No one wants to look at and dress up a bunch of fags all day. Wouldn't play it even if I got it and the console free.

That cavern's final stage on the first island is pretty good for them. Goblins in nearly every fight, elemental wisps too and both of those can drop them or be stolen from. Then the boss is 5 goblins who can also drop them or be stolen from. All for 2 stam

If you have a lot of free time you could do the exploration too but eh.

I haven't gotten any Mystic Ores in six runs of the lowest floors in Siren's Tower, either.
This just isn't going well for me.

I figured out a way to get nox to run the exploration for you. It's as fast as any other fight.

Basically you just mash around the screen, making sure you click in the bottom left where auto is every once in a while.

Then you have another macro that runs to the exit you activate after a set amount of time, making sure the other one expires around that time too.

It works very well because there's only one spawning zone, unlike most explorations.

Celes doesn't take center stage until the second half of the game when the World of Ruin content starts. It's Terra/Tina who has the World Map theme of the World of Balance and while FFVI didn't focus on any one character too much, Terra/Tina had far more on her struggle throughout the entire game and had driven the plot throughout some of the sections of the game. Hence why she was chosen to represent the hero's side in Dissidia as VI's rep.
