Okay so this is the result of a 5 consecutive DL live run using a Regular difficulty track. I decided to test this because last night I ran the DL live literally 75 times and could count the number of runs that gave me presents on two hands.

If what I tested turns out to be true, then I believe the reason I wasn't getting presents last night is because I was not hitting any of the special tempo notes (hitting a note to the song's rhythm perfectly and getting the iM@S logo). Last night I turned my song difficulty to Regular so I could half-assedly EX Clear songs and reduce the wear and tear on my joints and on my controller, paying no mind to trying to hit the special notes.

I am going to continue to test this until the DL live event is over, especially on higher song difficulties to test if the higher song note potential gives increased chance for more presents.

I have a hard time believing that presents are simply RNG because
a) The special note can proc on less than perfect notes, as shown during my 2nd run. So it cant be a measure of how well you're hitting the notes to the tempo of the song, instead it could be something else
b) I ran the DL live 75 times last night and was hardly rewarded with any presents in comparison. Sure you could argue for RNG but compare 4 consecutive present rewards vs 75 with less than 10 present rewards. Those odds don't make any sense at all. I will continue running DLs to decrease the statistical error but that will take more time. I will make another post in the next few days when I have more data.

I think the most significant out of all my runs are the 2nd and 5th ones.

The second one showed me getting the special not on less than PERFECT hits, and the 5th one showed me not hitting any notes and not getting any presents at the end.

Gonna move up to the higher song difficulties for more data.

We always talk about what per-existing non-iM@S songs we would like to hear the idols cover, but let's mix it up a bit.

If you could get any musician/band/composer (past or present, alive or dead) to collaborate and create a new song with an idol, what would you like to see created?

For instance, I'd like for Mendelssohn to compose something in a key that compliment would Chihaya's voice, or for Nickleback to create the rockiest rock song ever with Riina.

It won't happen unless they break all relations with ML.
