First for Kai-zar

Favorite (relatively obscure) mod?

I like the Bucket Loader Cabin player home

It's pretty comfy and the location ain't bad

c u t e

wrong general, pardner.
>>>/fog/

I have 4 favourites because I'm indecisive.

>Paint Your Weapon
Adds unique variants to weapons that otherwise were lacking, as well as new skins for existing weapons. All new uniques require you to explore the Mojave looking for their "trigger item", a unique item which unlocks the skin variant at the work bench.

>Near Death
Enemies have a chance to collapse to the floor rather than die straight away as you injure them, giving your the choice to grant them a swift death, leave them to bleed out or heal them up, attach a slave collar and sell them on. Anti NCR/Legion slaves can be sold to either faction for a small rep boost. Combined with the companion recruit mod, you can turn an injured Fiend into a loyal companion.

>NPC Travel
Adds a bunch of roaming NPCs to the game, to give the feel that other adventures are out there. Every single NPC who travels also offers the ability to trade, which means you can loot and sell on the fly. Combined with mods like Spice of Life and WMX, their appearance is randomised.

>People are Strange
Disables NPC names until you speak to them. Forces you to explore and talk to different people when looking for a particular NPC. Works well when combined with a mod that disables the quest marker.

Why would the NCR buy slaves?

Actually, makes me wonder, if NCR capture some Legionnaires alive, what do they do with them? I mean, they held Silus in McCarran, but he was an important one. What about regular ones?

>Actually, makes me wonder, if NCR capture some Legionnaires alive, what do they do with them?
hold them for questioning, interrogate them, then sentence them to prison I'd imagine.
That's what we (usually) do.

I wonder if some of the Powder Gangers were ex-Legion. Though it would probably be unwise to hold them so close to the frontline.

Ah probably should have made it clearer.
With the NCR, you force your slave to turn him or herself in, and you get NCR dollars and some supplies dropped off at the NCR safe house.

With Legion, you sell the slaves for caps and Legion money. Both factions are picky on who they accept. NCR will only accept raiders, Fiends, Freeside thugs, Powder Gangers and Legion soldiers. Legion will not accept any "non pure" slaves like ghouls or Fiends.

Looking back, the prison in Fallout just seems a little out of place.

Just the fact that some overzealous but well meaning vigilante gets locked up while there are pyromaniac cannibal murder-rapists roaming the countryside

In fallout it seems you either enslave somebody or put a bullet in their head, prison is antiquated

>Legion will not accept any "non pure" slaves like ghouls or Fiends.
Fiends also kind of work for Legion so why'd they approve of you fighting them?

>In fallout it seems you either enslave somebody
That's what NCR does, isn't it? Convicts work.

>Well meaning vigilante
You mean the sherrif?
>Pyromaniac cannibal murder rapists roaming the countryside
I don't think they want them roaming the countryside

Anybody know of a good mod for Tactics?

I've been playing through Fallout 1.5 Resurrection, and while that's cool, I'd like to revisit Tactics too, with a little new flavor to it.

Also, what is up with Res and practically every dialog choice going
1. Yes!
2. No!
3. FUK U I KIL U
4. Goodbye!

Shit is dumb.

I don't know why there are so many mods that reduce exp gain.

I always try and level up as fast as I can so I can play through more of the game on my built-up character.

Sup /cfog/, I'm planning a "Rick Sanchez" NV run, could you give me some ideas?

So far I've got:

Wildcard/Independent New Vegas
Main attributes: Intelligence, Luck
Habilities: Energy weapons, Science, Medicine

Won't care much about secondary missions, except for those when I can end up banging a qt (Bleed me dry, Suits You, Sarah) or the payment is actually worth. Probably the only DLC worth playing will be OWB and LR because of science and nukes.

Lots of alcohol and chems and deviant hookers. Lots of energy weapons and mostly SCIENCE.

Fuck factions. Followers and Enclave are kind of cute tho. I'll side with Caesar for the laughs until I reach Yes Man.

I need a Morty. Is there any mod that allows recruiting Euclid as a companion?

Do setscale 0.70 on Arcade and he'll make a pretty good Morty

What's the matter faggot? Aren't you hardcore like Joshua "Balance" Sawyer?

How do I make God the dominant personality in DM?

Wait till you get to the Casino and get a quest to "deal" with your team.

What's the best choice for Veronica's fate in a Mr. House run? Since you are forced to kill the BoS

Play the tape to switch between the two at whim

The final conversation with him in the kitchen is where you decide to merge or make one personality dominant

What's the most comfy place in NV? For me it's pic related.

We have different definitions of the word comfy

But definitely chilling on the balcony with my boy Hanlon

...

He's also part of the funnest Legion quest.

Get her to leave the Brotherhood for the Followers and leave her alive.

>nearing 2k hours playtime
>never gone Legion
>never seen this quest

That does look pretty fun...

Why would you exterminate the Followers????

Do her quest and then ditch her and blow up the bunker

One day she'll go home and ohshi- before moving onwards

Wake up at 8, go to the gift shop and talk to Cliff sell my shit. Go to the shady doctor and patch my shit up, then head out again.
So god damn comfy.

Definitely Zion

I find the I-95 from the 188 Outpost to be really comfy for some reason. Just walking down the road, sun setting, Vegas glow on the horizon. I find it very atmospheric.

Project Nevada is great, but if it was more modular it would be great.

As of now, we are forced to use almost all modules just to play with Extra Options enabled.

Disregard what the user said: PN does NOT turn New Vegas into an FPS (breaking news, though: New Vegas is an FPS). It only adds features to make the FPS experience much more enjoyable, and all of them you can turn off.

For lighting use Interior Lighting Overhaul and Realistic Wasteland Lighting Enhanced.

Immersive Minigames is pretty good.

...

Zion is a fine choice.

>there are literally people in this general as we speak that betray sweet old Tandi's Republic to serve some buttfucking tribals or a senile old business magnate.

>ain't that a gotta get a grip in the head

>start Autumn Leaves
>bad intro movie
>bad voice acting
>intrusive info when interacting with a Mr. Handy

So it is confirmed. Every single New Vegas quest mod is overrated shit. Why am I not surprised?

NCR A E S T H E T I C S

>NCR combat armor
>not the superior variant
faggot

Any of you know where to get this mod?

I've never felt like I needed one as much as I need this.

That's what I did

I like them all

>Not yes man

Like 20 playthroughs in and I've used this for almost all of them, I just wish it had a nearby campfire.

>just add more shit onto it!
>instantly superior
Retards honestly believe this.

Tandi's Republic has nothing to do with Kimball's. Kimball's is run by Shillary-tier jews who fuck everybody. If Tandi ever saw that she'd jump into the deathclaw quarry immediately.

>rick sanchez RP

lol. well i recommend the mad science mod, if you dont have it, its loads of fun

>actual combat pants and boots instead of retarded cowboy pants
>shoulderpads
>better looking helmet with night vision
>+2 DT and bonus stats
>no faction affiliation
Enjoy your shitty armor

whats that from?

>shoulderpads above the trenchcoat
>muh military boots for a military man like myself
>overdesigned helmet
I like this cosplay, though, except it's a bit too DAMAGED

>ruining the looks of the desert Rangers

Yeah, enjoy your military armor shit.

>helmet doesn't have the army insignia
He had ONE FUCKING JOB

Do you see the state of it? The Divide storms stripped it all, I guess.

NCR Patrol Gear

ADAM you numpty
Don't be an asshole

Dude I forgot what mod it's from, I just know it's NCR Patrol Gear.

Autumn Leaves was the one that Bethesda ripped off.

It must have done something right.

>1st recon motto on ranger helmet
retarded

Plasma caster or gattling laser

Maybe, but I don't like playing anything but professionally made quest mods.

I think I will leave it until the very end of my playthrough, once I'm over with the DLCs and the main questline.

Neither

plasma caster because it has functioning sound

And because you can actually aim with it

Is there something like Morrowind Overhaul for New Vegas? Man I love Morrowind Overhaul.

Plasma Caster because of that amazing FO1/FO2 design.

Wait a moment. Before you go, I... we... hope you've enjoyed your stay. Farewells can be a time of sadness -- letting go, difficult. As a guest of the Sierra Madre, you know that truth more than anyone. Frederick Sinclair believed that one's life could be made anew every day, that fortunes were more than the wealth in your hands. Love, life, family, those to care for and those who will care for you: to those who know these joys, the Sierra Madre holds little they don't already have. Out in the world, beyond these walls, that is your chance to begin again. I hope that you will return in happier times. Until then, the Sierra Madre, and I, will hold you in our hearts.

>hearing this for the first time after the ending sequence

Gatling laser has a theoretical max DPS of over a thousand. Also, it's probably the only FO3 redesign I actually like. Also, it's a laser machinegun, how cool is that? Oh, and it's hitscan.

>you'll never go back to the time when Laura Bailey wasn't voicing every single character ever written.
her, Troy Baker, and Travis Willingham are in too damn many games.

the fuck she's cute.

One obscure mod that I just can't for some reason play without is YMT_VendorProducts2Inventory

Basically, when you murder a merchant or vendor, all of their stock will appear in their inventory, kinda how like how you can rob the vendor's stock in F03 if you kill them or steal their inventory key.

Pretty immersive since 95 percent of their stock doesn't suddenly disappear from the face of the earth, but it does become ridiculously cheap since you can murder quartermasters and obtain almost life supplies of ammo. However, It's definitely a fun mod to have play with JSawyer/Hardcore mode where you have to manage your inventory in regards to carry weight.

This pretty much. She did a decent job by voicing Vera, Christine, Julie and that NCR lieutenant, but she's way too much frequent. Really wonder why her and Baker are popular to the point you see both in almost every game.

Though I didn't figure out it was her voicing Nadine in UC4 because of that forced accent, and because for some reason she was hired to voice a nigger

I mean, I get that Baker is buds with Willingham, and that Willingham is married to Bailey, so I'd imagine they work together a lot, but for 2 of the 3 of them to be in EVERY FUCKING GAME is just grating.
All three of them are voicing the stars of the Telltale Batman game (Baker:Batman, Willingham: Harvey Dent, Bailey:Catwoman)
Now Stephen Russell is going to be in everything too. Are these guys budget actors or what?

Anyone?

Yippee yay, there'll be no getting grips for today

Would be the case if I could find the mod. The only lead I have is some Japanese guy's Steam's screenshots. This is precisely the sort of thing I've wanted in New Vegas for a while.

Why don't you ask him?

Post your couriers.

I don't speak Japanese.

He's also been showing as offline for a while.

...

...

I'm having a pretty sizable problem with my TTW playthrough. I'm using Project Nevada and playing on the highest difficulty, and anytime I get shot even by a single bullet in full power armor, or get hit by a melee of any kind, I get a crippled limb. Originally I just thought this was because I picked the weak-limbed attribute, but even after I removed it through the console my problem persists. It feels lame as fuck getting a crippled arm in full power armor just because some raider with a 9mm pistol shot me once.

Pretty cool. What armor is that?

It's the Dead Horse Stalker Armor

What the fuck...

...

...

What gun is that?

nexusmods.com/newvegas/mods/57068/

Looked like a great mod, sadly it doesn't work through scripts and thus requires plenty of compatibility patches.

Aside from Nexus and loverslab, where do you get your mods from?

Why are those lights on at daytime?

shitting strip mod I had. Added lots of new features which were nice, like some new casinos.

Problem is, half off the quest npcs had been disabled. Completely killed it.

>Now Stephen Russell is going to be in everything too.
More Garrett is never a bad thing.
Except the shitty reboot

For some reason, I can't equip weapon mods on my Watts Laser pistol added by Project Nevada.

I have the gun, and the weapon mods. But when I open the mod selection menu, they just don't show up. I'm not really sure what to do.

I have the appropriate patches for WMX installed, and LOOT says my load order is fine. My game runs perfectly well except for that. And I really want to use this pistol. Any thoughts?

pic unrelated

If I leave Arcade outside and blow up BoS will it still count as a trigger?

anyone feel like making an edit of this
im to lazy and boring to think of anything interesting
