Any good Game Maker tutorials that aren't videos?

The sound on my PC died, and following instructions from a cellphone is a massive pain.

if you want to be a pixel purist you lock rotation to steps of 30 or 45 degrees and you manually draw the frames (or fix the bad pixels)

Early work on animated particles.

I love bestiaries in games.

I'll have one in mine with bonuses you gain for filling it up. To fill it up you need to clear 3 challenges per monster (kill monster, kill monster without getting hit once, kill monster x amount of times)

The bonuses will be very slight, like for filling up the information about ogre you'll gain 1% dmg increase.

It's the right place to post progress while your game is in development. Everyone here is another developer, or worse, a gamedev wannabe. You'll have better luck shilling on Tumblr if that's all you want to accomplish.

That sounds like a cool idea. It was hard enough for me just to get it working where it triggers on kill. Mainly because gamemaker is a piece of shit when it comes to data arrays.

There are several levels of lewds.
For instance, I'd say that your image is 7/10 lewd, and is 8.75/10 lewd.

You don't necessarily need a naked girl to make lewd. In fact, the lewdest girls are usually not naked but have very lewd outfits.

a pose is not an animation. rough out the animation first before doing anything else, otherwise if you realize later that your original pose is fucked up you have to redo it

Its fine if you are really mindful about organization and have clarity of mind as to what you want to accomplish.

I have a 2d SRPG with menus, overworld, and battles all done, but its a bit of a bear to keep it all separate.
