Consider yourself lucky if you want to main ele

With the information we have of future patches, we know that ele is gonna be gimped as far as chrons go

You can no longer get into anton raid with just the bare minimum of void chrons

At least you have time to whore your money and waste it on hells so you can get full dark gothic and become a raid seller

Ele is still really strong at the upper echelon, just depends if you wanna spend funds to get there

Do quests for Liberation Weapon and other Quest Legendaries and save up for gold while doing them.

The Aura is actually good on Crusader since I don't think there's any other aura right now that gives that much Vit and Spi. That being said, its easily replaceable for just about everybody else and I think Crusader can even use Unique Motion Aura in its place.

the general progression is to get the chron set that is best for your class, and then move onto legendaries or jump straight into epics

if your class has no good chron sets, halidoms straight into epic farming

It's nice but an extra level of DI is way better than 50 stats

Its quite fun and viable if you already play a lot of games on stick. Play your class as close as full manual as you can for maximum enjoyment. Some characters really aren't meant for anything but keyboard though (I was fulltime gamepad player until Elementalist).

Movement is the biggest detriment, and not necessarily so; its the same situation where shmup movement is just better on keyboard because of the nature of the game.

If you have a stick with a short throw, you'll be all set. If this all sounds spergy to you, then I'll leave it at 'fun and viable'.

none really, EMM clears entire rooms for almost all of scenario and then you have an easily obtained starter gear set to look forward to. though you might be disappointed how little you move around on your broom or flyswatter things

What weapon is it? Just because it's Legendary doesn't mean it's good, there are some seriously shitty Legendary Weapons out there.
