You can combine two car companies to make a car.
One in charge of chassis, and one in charge of engine. You decide what kind of vehicle.
Hard mode: No Chevrolet or Ford

If Honda and Acura collaborated and released a new car that would be so sick.
They're the same company you dumbass tardface
Then why is there a Honda Dealer and am Acura dealer near me in two separate locations?
Checkmate benchracer
pre-renault nissan chassis with toyota engine, i6 twin turbo rwd 2 seat coupe
toyota chassis
honda engine
Thats like saying Ferrari and Jeep are the same.
Lotus or Renault's RenaultSport division in charge of chassis, Suzuki in charge of engine. Lightweight, MR layout, 2-seater sports car.
Chrysler and Mazda make a STR-SPEED Miata
Chrysler isn't so good at making things that sell well and turn well but they can fucking cram an engine bay full of motor and don't give a fuck about overpowering a chassis. Mazda is king of chassis but NEVER makes a car with quite enough power. Chrysler slaps a 2.4 turbo 4 cylinder into the Miata with about 300hp AND releases MOPAR stage upgrades for MOAR power and Mazdaspeed does their regular thing with racing/track parts.
you're doing this on purpose aren't you?
Is this serious? Am I being memed?
I don't like Chrysler but when everyone was dicking around with quick FWD sporty cars they took a their shitbox and crammed a HUGE 4 cylinder with a big turbo and made a car that blew the doors off their competition and could be made much fasted way cheaper than almost anything else. Also they (like GM and Ford) make real factory aftermarket performance parts for their car. No Italian micro engine would beat what ever engine Chrysler turbo motor if you gave them a run at it and Fiat isn't going to make hop up parts for your Miata. They will give you 485 hp in a Challenger for 40K what could they do with a MX5?
Mazda chassis
Honda engine
Lightweight FR two-seat coupe
Same parent company, but different people doing different things because they have independent goals.
>they took a their
>made much fasted
Thanks for the keks along the way.
i agree anyway though.
Mitsubishi and Chrysler
But it's the same parts and tech, right?
And the separation is only for a few cars, right?
Civic=CRX
Accord=TL
CRV=RDX
I have a Lexus and most of the parts are marked Toyota and the chassis and drivetrain interchange with a Highlander.
I just assumed it was the same
Lotus chassis
Honda engine
1:1 power to weight ratio.
dodge engine
mazda chassis
The ultimate cuckmobile
Crx still has honda badges
I think you meant
Civic- Rsx
hahahahaha
Dodge and Honda
Honda can show dodge how to make reliable cars and dodge can show Honda how to make sports cars again
Toyota engines are god tier though, especially the supercharged 2ZZ in the Exige
Pontiac chassis, Oldsmobile engine.
Basically what I'm saying is I want a second generation Fiero.
>Fiero
More like Fagero
Am I right or what lads?
I prefer the K series
could make the same power all motor
What nameplate would it be released under?
Checkmate atheists
nissan chassis
toyota engine
the god of all cars
Honduras
I like alpha romeo for a sporty good handling chassis. But alpha has a shit reputation for reliability and ease of getting parts (hence why they didn't sell very well in America) and I'd throw a Toyota uz v8 in it. or a subaru EJ25 in it
Land Rover handles chassis
Cummins puts the motor in it
I WILL go wherever I damn well please. And leave parts and smoke along the way.
Normal: BMW Chassis/Transmission, Chevrolet engine/driveshaft/cooling
Hard: BMW chassis, Porsche drivetrains/engine/cooling
So the car will be heavy and underpowered but able to take a lot of abuse and has high potential for modding?
>Honda muscle car
Chrysler for Engine, Mercedes-Benz for chassis/Body.
K E K
E
K
If we're talking any company in history, I'd throw a Top-fuel dragster engine into a Saab 9-3 Viggen Convertible for the lulz of it.
If we're talking any current manufacturer, I'd let Jaguar handle the styling and engines while Volvo does the bits underneath/ saftey stuff. Volvo seats though, since the ones in the new XC90 are easily the most comfortable on the market.
>Hard mode: No Chevrolet or Ford
but neither chevy or ford have made anything worth looking at
what if toyota built the chassis and subaru built the engine. imagine what kind of god machine would that make
or even toyota chassis and bmw engine. that could be the next supra
Yamaha engine
Ford chassis
Hennessey and Ferrari.
Volkswagen and Ford Europe.
BMW and Jeep.
G O D M A C H I N E S
Mazda for chassis
Aston for engine
Dodge for engine, Mazda for chassis.
Drop a Hellcat into a Miata, stand back and watch the fireworks.
watch it fall over at the first turn?
BMW turbo i6 into toyobaru chassis, but with slight modifications to make it less front heavy.
>blow head gasket
>Toyota chassis
>dodge engine
better than a destroyed oil pump
porsche engine
lotus chassis
oh man, muh dick
Fair enough, having changed a K series head gasket I know it's pretty straightforward, I don't know shit about ZZ engines though, except precats melting
they like to grenade oil pumps a lot
you just need to change the gears, but revving the stock one is a big no no
changing both the oem headgasket and oil pump is probably a must on any engine build anyway
Stronk Swedish chassis
Stronk American V8
ford and mazda
Lotus chassis, Audi (DIESEL) engine, Mazda body.
Lotus for sublime grip, AuD for HEKTIK TORQ, and Mazda body because I like their new design work.
Alternatively, Peugeot/Citroen chassis, Chrysler engine.
Two words: Oleopneumatic + Hellcat.
Your premise is bullshit.
I want BMW in charge of everything but the electronics, which I will subcontract to Toyota...
Oh wait, what that? The new Supra and Z5?
I basically just want a Toyobaru with power and maybe less weight.
So Toyota/Subaru chassis, with more of an eye to light weight, and then Yamaha for the engine.
Renauld for the diesel DCI engine, Peugeot fot the chassis
>the french nightmare
Audi for the engine, toyota for the chassis
SHITBOX SUPREME
Mazda and tvr
mazda to do the actual car, then tvr to shove some beastly v8 into it, probly make it handle a little better too but mainly just an na with a speed 8
>The new Supra
Still holding out for a several year old concept, eh?
Holy shit took the bait like a fucking retard...
Porsche chassis
Honda engine if I can convince them to make a V10
If not, cosworth engine unless that's cheating
If not, audi engine
McLaren; Chassis
Koinegseigg; Engine
They would share intellect on bodywork, active areo, and other technology. Maybe hybrid tech.
Honda
>build a qt little MR roadster chassis that is preferably US market friendly
Mazda
>I4, NA and turbo rotary engine options
maybe some front E-hubs for some AWD hybrid action while we're at it
So like the 928 was originally supposed to be?
Mazda chassis
Mercedes-AMG engine.
Chrysler engine
Mazda chassis
That thing would fly.
NOT FAST ENOUGH
F20c Honda engine in a BMW 2002, consider supercharging f20
Was thinking this myself, lotus for chassis deffo.
Engine?
Toyota or big power porsche
Dodge making unreliable cars is a meme.
Literally a single generation of Auschwitz tier shitboxes
Same thing with the challenger being a sports car, it still has it's curves and up to a 6.4L Hemi shooting out 485HP, and that's BEFORE turbocharging, it's the last muscle.
Ur dayum right there senpai
Honda engine
Honda mixtured mazda chassis
I just want a s2000 but keep it low on weight. Add mazda if they want to fuck shit up
>Toyota and Subaru
I really want a shitty pigfat AE86 with a subaru boxer engine that they forgot to tarbo.
I don't know
A McLaren chassis with a BMW engine maybe?
Cadillac
Audi
I want a proper awd A/CTS-V wagon with manual option.
>Audi will have no say-so as to where it can be sold.
...
I'm going above and beyond.
Engine by Audi.
Transmission by Dodge.
Wiring by Volkswagen.
Body and rustproofing by Mazda.
Styling by Nissan.
Crash structure engineering by Geely.
Interior by Tata.
Quality control by Lada.
Dealer network and advertising by Mitsubishi.
> transmission by dodge
Have fun driving it in 15 years
>completely misses that it's the worst companies providing all the components
And what goes on top of the chassis and engine? Do you just assume I'm a boyracer who'll make do with a barebones shitbox interior and generic body?
>ford chassis
>aston martin engine
Basically i want a 6.0 v12 mustang with magnetic ride control
retard
Alfa-Romeo chassis
Toyota engine
Beautiful and reliable
>Tata interior quality
God tier if you use the Jaguar Land Rover teams.
Porsche 914 with Subaru 2.0 turbo boxer engine
>BMW and Jeep
Why? The only thing Jeep had going for it was the AMC 4.0, but Chrysler axed it in 06, and the only thing BMW has going for it is their i6s. Sure, an engine collaboration would be great, but a car would be ass.
But how would you rustproof it without a high quality British engine breathing/leaking oil all over the underside of it?
Mitsubishi 4b11t engine
Nissan/infiniti chasis
>$500 and a weekend
Oh my fucking god could you imagine
how about a fiat punto engine in a ford bronco chassis?
f22c
Lotus chassis saab engine.
Lotus chassis
toyota/yamaha engine (1LR-GUE)
alternatively mazda engine for a rotary to complement the light chassis
dodge v10 with gtr chassis + drivetrain
jizz
BMW chassis.
Mercedes supercharger engine.
>Chrysler for Engine, Mercedes-Benz for chassis/Body.
that's literally 90% of dodge cars right now bro. they still use Benz chassis
>BMW chassis
>Mazda rotary
