I won't deny that there is obvious bias depending on the website, but what you're saying is bullshit. There has been plenty of outside art posted here that has been positively recieved. There's a japanese artist's pictures which are posted here often and are praised. The kind of thing that people here hate is the prototypical outside fanbase Purple: the thin, tall, attractive, usually shirtless anime with stupid hair, plastered with an omnipresent smug dreamworks grin who parades through comical levels of blood and viscera while glossing over why his actions were morally reprehensible. I challenge you to find one outside interpretation of the character who doesn't fit that description. The distaste has nothing to do with Tumblr or Veeky Forums. It has to do with the fact that it's fucking awful.
