user...

what?

nope

its not a real Volvo, its a DAF with a Volvo badge.
it was made in Holland and constructed using Tulip steel, not Volvonium.

the reason there are so few is they all rusted away to nothing.

Yes. The general build quality was bad due to DAF factory. However, the car looks cool, has a proper workhorse Renault F-series engine and Lotus helped with the suspension so it drives really well. I would buy a really late one. Preferably with the 2 liter n/a engine. Most of the problems were sorted towards the end of production and "Celebration" or "SE" trim levels have a nice leather interior and body colour bumpers. Would buy/5.

Scandi here, i'd buy one and bring it to whichever shipping harbor you decide on for compensation (sexually(provided you're a chinese cartoon character))

No because as another user said they're not real Volvos and they are utterly terrible with no redeeming features.

>light weight wedgey boxey small 3 door hatch
Honda CRX. Which is objectively lighter, wedgey-er, boxey-er and smaller.

As a Dutchfag, that's not a problem for me. The anemic engines, however, are.
