The LS7 was (as far as i'm aware) the only 500+ HP NA Engine to pass Gas Guzzler tax in the US.
The Coyote also gets better Gas mileage than a smaller displacement BMW V8 (i had a picture giving a perfect demonstration but i lost it)
i also think another part is the rules dont allow VVT.
