Ford focus.
I drove a Corolla once. It was nice.
Corolla, I don't trust Nissan since Ghosn bought them out
this unless nissan makes the nismo sentra a thing
current sentras are shit, my wife has a 2016 corolla. with sport mode on or using the paddle shifters its a pretty fun car to drive. not fast by any means but its quick enough to make it through traffic, and sounds pretty good with the stock exhaust.
my advice would be to test drive both before your decision.
Corolla
>recomending trash
>Corolla
depends. CVT or manual?
If CVT: Ford Focus
If manual: Corolla.
Meanwhile...
Neither. Shut up and buy a civic for
ford focus has a DCT, a pretty shitty DCT desu. manual focus is best focus
I own a new Corolla, and I love it. The Sentra is ugly, even with the cosmetic tweaks on the 2016.
Mazda 3
/thread
>literally the 2 worst non GM compacts
Civic
Mazda 3
Focus
Elantra
Forte
Literally any of those are leagues better
what the fuck OP
>Focus
>Elantra
>Forte
>forte
>focus
Better in terms of what? It certainly isn't reliability.
owner of a 2010 nissan sentra here
it is a shite of a car -- avoid at all costs
i have 130k and the cvt is going to fail
car just feels like it is slowly falling apart
engine is reliable perse but it is now burning oil
Focus is bretty gud in manual. But a mazda3 is definitely OPs best bet
Will the 2016 Honda civic go down in history as one of the best economy cars of all time?
They're both garbage, the Sentra more so. Civic or Mazda3.
>arguing about shitboxes
compact economy cars are the most exciting 2bh
>cheap
>can be fun
>you can drive them into the ground without feeling bad
>easy to drive because size

Anybody who buys a new car in this segment is an idiot.
If you want a reliable, efficient econobox. buy a cheap econobox for a few grand. Otherwise you should buy a nicer used car with lowish miles. If you can't afford a decent interest rate on that then you shouldn't be financing a car.
Used 2013 Genesis under 30,000 miles sell for the same price as a new Civic.
This. I bought a bone stockeroni 95 corolla last may for 2100 bones with 130k on it. Put 50k on her so far and all ive had to replace was the alternator about 20k ago. This way i can put all the shekels into a fun weekender

Corolla - no comparison (if you're buying used). If you're buying new it really doesn't matter, both come with similar warranties.
However, the corolla has LED headlights which is an industry first for a compact economy car.
