Also, you can play DS games in native pixel for pixel resolution on 3DS by holding down Start or Select before the game boots up. So, that means if you have a 3DS XL you can play pixel for pixel DS games in a larger size.

Otherwise there is some blurry (I guess they call it bilinear filtering?) images. It isn't bad for most games, but some titles are great for the pixely goodness.
