>IS CALL OF THE BEASTMEN WORTH BUYING?
The Beastmen are a cool faction but the pack is a bit overpriced for what you get. There probably won't be a price drop for some time, so if you really like the Beastmen then go ahead, otherwise wait it out.

>OVERCASTING SPELLS
Double click a spell (it needs to be a boostable spell and you need to have enough magic in the magic pool) to overcast the spell
There's a 50% chance that the caster damages itself though!

>QUEST BATTLE TELEPORT
Select your lord (make sure not garrisoned or in a stance)
Select the quest battle (on the map or through quest log)
There's a button in the bottom right of the quest battle window that you can use to teleport for 5k gold (when the battle's finished you're automatically teleported back to your original position)

>GROUP ATTACK
Group units with ctrl + g
Select your group and right click the enemy
All your units move and automatically direct themselves to engage enemies they get close to while maintaining formation

Can you imagine a bigger slut and a worse character than vampire chan?

I can. The people who like her are worse.

>those veiny tits

B-by Sigmar...

What other factions can have cute girls?

Brettonia is the only other one that has them now.

Elves and KANGZ

I want to dp Vampire-chan with Khalida!

russian trailer leak when?

Dude thats my otp. Throw in a threesome with Khaldia's cousin, the Vampire Queen, we got ourselves some sexy undead time.

Who said anything about the sneks?

>nobody else in this thread wants to see a crossdressing gobbo

Just imagine his huge disgusting nose sticking out past a nice straight bob cut wig.

What sort of psychological issues wich such a goblin have? In the memehammer universe goblins tend to just get abused by things bigger than them all the time. Would he be living in constant fear that whoever forced him to wear the skirt and wig will come back and abuse him? Can you mind break a goblin?

Would anyone take pity on something like that? Is there any lore friendly evidence that some greenskins are part of the other civilizations? As slaves or perhaps assistants to some wizard?

You must understand that i have become fixated on this due to the sociological implications and curiosity. Its a question like "what if you put a child in an isolated room with nothing but a TV and no human contact at all and waited 10 years, what would he become?". What would happen to this goblin? How would contemporary individuals view him? Doesn't it sound fascinating?

Mousillon user, are you here?

Y'know, I used to be pretty down on /twg/. Then I saw what we could descend into.

What the fuck are merchants good for in Medieval 2? The AI has claimed every resource, there's a less than 10% chance to kick them out, and even if I were to, there'd be another merchant along in two turns to kick mine out. All this trouble, for MAYBE 26 gold a turn?

merchants can make you a shit ton of money in the holy land. an early crusade and 2-3 merchants usually funded all my early campaigns.

you can get around like 500 a turn with each merchant on a spice.

Sick of vampire cunts. Let's see what II can get.

FOR HELDENHAMMER

>You can click units on the map to select them

What other useless features have you come across?

Arch actually made me want to punch him in this video. He's so fucking annoying...

youtube.com/watch?v=ZGdtd2GHh9w

Fuck you too post number.

you get more money the further the trade resource is from the capital. the more expensive the good, the more money you get.

A common exploit is building a fort on top of a trade resource, and telling your merchants to move inside it.

what did he say now?
are you new to rts user?

I miss Arena

TROM3

For a FoTS playthrough, I suggest:

Robin de Bodemloze FoTS Vintage Portraits
NoIF FoTS Flags
FoTS Tactics and Uniforms
FoTS Naval Sailor Uniforms
Frodo Real Armies
daniu Add Occupation Resistance to AI
Frodo Better Maps
Kami Saya and Ebira
spartan warrior FoTS Proper Languages
IGdood Bayonets (or any bayonet mods, it was originally gook's anyway)
FoTS Artillery Mod

Is Arena any good?

Also what happened to it?

Arena was fun but had problems. Since it was in closed beta they took the servers down a few months ago to keep working on the game.

Also, if your allies walked through your pikes you did damage to them. No matter how many times I told people to NOT WALK THROUGH THE PIKES they did it anyway

I like to think I was pretty good

Wasn't it full of waifus and memes
Personally I don't mind that much, one meme game per series is fine by me

Got it
Thanks for the feedback!

>full of waifus and memes
>not Warhammer right now

Arena wasn't actually that bad, definitely had potential. Call me crazy but I actually liked only controlling 3 units and actually having to depend on your team to do well. Of course that also led to situations like pic related.

The two guys on the bottom of my team did 7,000 damage to our own team. I warned you about the pikes, bro.

Omg why Chaos is such a boring faction to play?
> Start as Arch-chump
>kite 50 turns and raze smaller settlements to get favour and growth
>get chosen and summon slannesh faggot.
> continue pillaging norska, get unique gear and wait for the big bird.
>wreck chaos oppsition and subjugate remnants of the north tribes
> go south with 3+ max vetted doom stacks of chosen and knights
>rotflstomp everything in your wake.

the only time I got my shit smacked is when my secondary warhosr fought 30 lvl empire vanilla hero doom stack.

I like the idea of elie units and shit, this is fun, but the game-wise that faction i spoorly designed.

Basicly you just spam 5-6 chosen with shields, 3 with GW, 3 with halberds, add exalted hero with training and fill the rest with chaos knights.

The battles are basicly attack move-tier tactics.

No mention there is no favour (economy) management, you should be able to at least build some chaos outposts/shrines at the ruined cities, which will add some global map gameplay.

what do these do?
>artillery mod
>frodo's mods
>kami saya and ebira

So only Greeks and Barbarians? A shame, I wouldn't mind having more options. I want my Shogun 2 roster.

I'll play it once CA includes firearms and Napoopan as a general.

How often does the agent pool in Rome 2 refresh?

>finally get a good laptop.
>arena is closed.

Romans were also a thing, and the greeks had a fairly diverse roster

stop spamming elite units then.

The artillary mod adds new cannon units to the game to give more variety.

The saya and ebira mod adds sheaths and quivers I think. It's been a while.

what kinds of cannons?
vanilla had meme cannons, regular arty and breech loaded arty

Right now it's closed and they're probably adding more factions at least I hope so

I honestly have no idea how firearms past late medieval would work in this game. Since it uses a WoT style progression system and tiers I would think unit variety would be pretty lacking.

To be honest I wasn't that into Empire or Napoopan in general when I played them same for FotS

Saya and Ebira: Katana sheath and arrow Quivers. Also more Sabre variety and kill animations

Real Armies make the campaign stack appearence represents the unit in the army. So for instance if your stack commanded by a traditional unit, the campaign stack would be represented by a traditional flag bearer instead of standard FoTS flagbearer.

Better Maps is a must-have. It make the siege maps much more intricate. AI may have problems with the much better maps, but eh.

The artillery mod come with lot of versions. If you want additional units like mortars, rockets, howitzers, horse artillery take the T2. If you just want the lower trajectory, 6 horse pulling team, and such without the potential sound bug that come with unit packs, just use the Artillery Tweaks without the units.
The guy made fots japanese battle commentator too, but last time i used it its buggy. Building a Nation is good, but some of the buildings bug the tooltip. There are also Recruitable Generals and Joshigun Heroines, but not that important.

>I honestly have no idea how firearms past late medieval would work in this game
I'd be more than ok with knights and arquebuses (is that the plural? not a native speaker)

Traditional Rockets, Mortars, Howitzer, Horse Artillery with faster campaign map movement

Yeah, arguebuses is fine.

They mentioned adding in medieval units in a post so I'm holding out hope for that. I want ENGLAND pretty bad.

Handguns and cannons still works in Attila anyway. MKTW did it.

Yea sure.

I play Chaos to spam dirt-cheap savages that will break at 2nd charge, In a faction, when You cannot spam lords and treat them expandable, because losing a battle means You just got your main city razed.

Chaos should be all about being the biggest, meanest motherfuckers in the yard. but there is little to no variety in their roosters.

I think they should heavily buff chosen, warriors and knights, and make them limited units for each horde. at the same time add more marouder-tier units . Each tier of specific building will let you recruit additinal "elite" units. Chaos corruption mechanics should encourage spreading chaos rebelions, and chaos rebels should work as Waagh units.

Unit variety in general in Warhammer is pretty lacking right now. Bretonnia in particular is missing quite a few units that I remember from tabletop and so is Chaos.

Yeah Bretonnia will have the army variety they need once those two missing knight units get added in.

G O B L I N S

B E S T

Men of the Empire for nice, full plate State Troops, but its lore accuracy is debatable

better not be niggerskins

time to gay it up a notch

Men of the empire is still outdated. ;_;

b-b-but chaos campaign is shit

Then raze some more!

>all that tracing

No, it's not even tracing. It's just photoshop over a porn model.

Fucking hell.

>Bretonnia
>unit variety

Yeah, right.
Knight Errants, Questing Knights, Grail Pilgrims and Grail Relique. Four new units. Truly these four will make Bretonnia great again. Bretonnia is a shit faction in terms of variety and tactics. They're a one-trick pony who can't do anything else.

>What's that, want some cool infantry?
Nah, lore doesn't allow that. Here, have a bunch of worthless peasants instead.
>Want some ranged units?
Fuck that, have some more peasants instead.
>What about siege weapons?
Trebuchet only. No catapults or ballistas or anything.
>But what about mercenaries?
Lore doesn't allow that either without bending some rules like saying they're all sheep herders or something.

The only original unit CA can add would be longbowmen, and that's about it.

That's really everything they'd need to be a pretty good faction. As long as Questing Knights have armour piercing and maybe anti large they'd be excellent and Grail Pilgrims would at least give them infantry that wouldn't break immediately

this is why this game desperately need unit active skills like in previous games.

because right now infantry blocks are now just meatgrinders. we need formations, stances, that kind of shit.

So the DLC announcement will be at Thursday, right?

probably

Unit variety would still be shit. Compare them to Empire or Orcs, or any other faction for that matter.

Either Improved Empire State Troops or Varied State Troopers with either Lore Friendly Greatswords or Full Plate Greatswords (either mod for Greatswords is fine since Greatswords are actually armoured unlike State Troops).

Adding full plate to State Troops that aren't supposed to be heavily-armoured is just plain wrong, and I don't care what people say, those floppy hats are awesome and funny!

I kinda like that Men of the Empire had a non-cosmetic version that turns the armoured State Troops into their own, separate units that are distinct from regular STs.

Am I the only one that doesn't miss them at all? Other than the broken as fuck shield wall/defensive testudo and arrow types, they were always rather superfluous.

>implying [Out of Control] wasn't broken as fuck
>implying Germanic Warbands and their fucking Frenzy wasn't ungodly
>forgetting Pike Wall

>One-trick pony
Are you not paying attention at all? They are going to have like five different types of ponies. Stop embarrassing yourself.

>five different types of ponies
Global rule 15

Still ponies.

Now look here, bub. You're going to make Knights Errant, Errant Knights, Questing Knights, Question Knights, Knights of the Realm, Knights of the Elm, Grail Knights, Snail Knights, and you're going to send Pretty Pegasus Knights flying right over them.

And I don't want to hear any more about not enough unit variety.

They're all cavalry.

And not even that good cavalry either. Both Blood Knights and Chaos Knights shits all over Bretonnia. Fuck, even Empire Knights can tackle them just fine.

Name something that the Empire can't do that the Brets can. The only advantage they have are Pegasus Knights.

Also, disregard that I'm a fucking idiot because I just read your post more thourough.

> Tomb Kings still not announced
