Guys I know this is not the place to ask questions such as these but I am seeking advice from my senpais.

I started playing the first week of July. I did not roll for anything because I was unfamiliar with the characters. However I found out my waifu's VA voiced a character in this. Unfortunately she is one of the worst SSR characters in the game. So now I have to figure out how to build a party around this character so I am not complete shit.

So I have De La Fille to work with. I can't even get the Summer version since I can at best do 5 10-part draws at the moment. Next Summer I may try and get her Summer version but assume I am stuck with normal De La Fille. Which light party should I scrap together to try and make up for her? Ferri/Amira? Something with Jeanne? I mean this is all long term planning of course but I like to have a general strategy going forward. Should I go for Song? Also I can't reroll now to get the summer because I got all my friends to play with me and if I reroll now I will be a month and a half behind. I am not aiming for Esports MVP but I would like to be in the running to beat them sometimes.

First off I would just do what everyone else suggested and reroll a new account to start dash her Summer version if she's not available to start dash. Being a month behind your friends is nothing. That's the best shot you'll ever have at it, and her supporting ability is much better.

Secondly Ferri, Amira, and Jeanne are pretty much core members on light teams so you'll be using them anyway. Ferri and Jeanne are likely your best options to fill the rest of your team since Amira won't reach her true potential until you get her to level 100, which you won't be doing anytime soon.

It goes without saying that you pick up Song as your GW character.

1 month is very little time and you're trying to play one of the hardest elements for begginers with the shittiest character from that element.

The game is balanced around gated progression. The more you level up and progress the easier things get. This encourages people to spend money. And it also makes the game more fun.

You should be doing the extreme quest to farm materials, but if you can't do that you are gated with really shit farming. Alternatively you can just buy your way with whale tears.

That's definitely true. I'd be doing extreme trials but right now I've already passed Dark so I'm stuck with scarlet trial at the moment. I'm just surprised that I started off with around 26 Wind Orbs and 35 Dark Orbs and have used about 10 Half Pots and I'm now sitting on 70+ Wind orbs and 45 Dark Orbs.

Also I know all about casino and stuff, but is there any way to obtain a healthy surplus of half pots without spending money? Like, I don't know, farming or what not?

Coop was only viable because people were botting it. Getting one half pot for a shitton of work isn't worth it, you may as well just get a part time job and buy rolls, since at least that way you are getting characters at the same time.

Right now elemental bosses are useful, but typically they cost as much as they net you. You just do them to get you the monthly items and they are almost free.

Passed as in, just use your natural AP/BP regen for that. Those HP up off-element summons/weapons doesn't worth your pots.

Even the weapons of your own element are often not worth it. Exceptions are things like Cerb dagger which has a MLB and 2nd skill.
