It's the whole system not being balanced, magic/phys attack enahcne shouldn't be higher than 20%, 1 slot per rank is also too much( 1 slot every 2-3 ranks would be balanced) And lets not talk about Transcendence system, cap it to lv5 or exploiters/RMT will just powercreep the whole game so hard legit and honest players would just feel more insulted than they are now by IMC

And the Chaplain will do more damage because they have like 5 lines of auto attacks with blessing on top. Besides you said you wanted an auto attack build, but you can just take paladin at 6 and 7 for smite and turn undead and then hope inquisitor is something decent
